we're a couple

Arny and I have decided to tell our moms about us dating first. Before we go to school and everyone knowing that we're dating.

Every Saturday my mom and his mom, we have this dinner together. Todays dinner is at my house.

I hear a knock on the door and I quickly walk down the stairs. Quicker than the speed I usually go. Then I open the door, and when I see Arny I smile.

I really want to just hug him right now and kiss him. But then that would ruin the whole telling our moms thing. His mom walks into the kitchen and helps my mom with the food. So Arny and I go up to my room.

They wouldn't find suspicious because we hang out with each other in each other's room alone so.

We reach my room and Arny walks in first then I walk in behind him. And close my door.

"God I've been wanting to kiss you." Arny says in a low tone. I LOVE IT WHEN HE DOES THAT.

"Me too. I just wanna hold you right now in my ar-"

Arny pulls me in and kisses me. Wow.

He pulls away then I grab his face with both of my hands and pull him in for another kiss. I missed him so much. Even though I saw him today at school and in the morning but 🤫

Then I pull away from him and give him a hug. I hold him tightly before quickly letting him go.

I hear my mom walking up the stairs saying "Y/n, Arny dinners ready."

She knocks on my door.

When my mom walks in, she's a bit weirded out by the fact that she might have interrupted something. She can tell when I'm being weird.

"Okay we're coming down now." I say. Then she walks out of my room closing the door halfway.

"Im sorry!! I just didn't want to ruin it for us. I wanna tell them that we're dating officially. Instead of her finding us kissin-" I start to nervously ramble but then I see that Arny is slowly starting to smile at me.

"Why are you smiling? Like that? At me?" I say nervously.

"Because..."

"Becauseee?" I say wanting to know why.

"Because i think your so adorable when you get all nervous, also love it's okay." Arny says.

I give him a peck and pull away. When I pull away Arny looks annoyed to the fact how quick of a kiss I gave him.

Then I say "I think we should start heading down before they get all suspicious."

We walk down the stairs and sit down next to each other at the dinner table.

As we are halfway done eating. Arny looks over at me and I look back at him. Both of us knowing that it's time to tell them.

I nod at him.

"We need to tell you guys something." I say then the whole table gets quiet.

"Do you wanna tell them or?" Arny asks me.

I point to him and say "You can tell them." I give him a smile.

"So uhm... We're dating!!" He say excitedly.

The moms look at each other and look back at us and says "Yeahh we know."

Arny and I look at them confused on how they know we're dating.

"What? How?" I ask.

"It's kind of sucks obvious honey." My mom says.

"But how??" I say still confused.

"I mean come on you went to his house at 6:30 in the morning. You really think I would just think that you guys are friends? Come on guys I'm not that stupid." My mom says to Arny and I.

Ohhh that's what's gave it away. Oops.

"Ohh." I say 😐

"What are your thoughts on our relationship?" Arny asks them.

"I think that the relationship that you guys have is really good. Like starting off as friends then becoming a couple. It's a very good way to start a relationship. We support you guys though." Arny's mom says.

My mom nods, showing that she agrees with what Arny's mom just said.

Arny and I smile at each other. Never knew I could be this happy with just another person coming into my life. Wow.

After we all finish eating dinner. Arny's mom goes home first. I am standing outside then Arny's walk out of my front door. And put his zip up hoodie over me. Then I realize that he's behind me.

I turn around to see him. "Hii!" I say excitedly and hang my arms on his shoulders. I press my lips on his. And then he wraps his arms around my waist. He pulls away and smiles at me and tucks my hair behind my ears.

"Did I tell you how much I love it when you do that?" I say to him and smile back.

"Do what?"

"You know what? But I'll say it anyway. Pulling out of a kiss, then smiling at me. And tucking my hair behind me. It makes my heart wanna pound out of my chest."

"Noted. I didn't realize that it made your heart wanna POUND out of your chest. Wow." He says surprised.

"I should probably start heading home." Arny says.

Then I give him a pout, and say "Nooo, don't go my love. Stay here with me."

"I don't think your mom would think that's a good idea. My mom is waiting for me at home. So I'm gonna go now okay?" He says softly.

"Aww... okay. I'll see you tomorrow in the morning. I'll go to your house."

I give him a tight hug and we kiss. I unwrap my arms from his shoulders and put them to the side of me.

"Alright goodnight love. See you tomorrow." He says and starts walking down the stairs.

"Goodnight, my love. See you in the morning!" I say.

I didn't see this coming when Arny and I first met. Like come on, I hated him at first and now look at where we are.
