Just finished my first day of school. I text Arny it's been 10 minutes after school ended so...

Me: Hey, I'm waiting outside of school. Where are you?

*5 minutes later*

Arny: Ohh sorry, I just saw this. I'm walking out right now.

After a few minutes, I see Arny walking out of school. He walks towards me.

"Heyy, did something happen? Like why did you just come out just now."

"Ohh, nothing. I had to use the bathroom." He says. But I can tell he's not telling the truth. And who takes what 15 minutes in the bathroom?!

"Your lying, aren't you?" I say and we start walking.

"Noooo... I'm not. I don't know what your talking about?" Arny says in a clueless tone. We love doing this to each other. Just to annoy each other.

"Ohhh come on, tell me!!" I say.

"Okay...fine." Arny says and I get excited.

"Spill" I say with a smile.

"Well... when i was about to exit the school. A girl named Samantha came up to me and asked me out."

Ohhh shit. How am I supposed to tell him this?? She used to tease me in elementary school.

Arny notices my 😐 expression and says "What? Do you know this girl? Do you not like her?"

"Welll... I used to go to elementary school with her. And she used to like call me names and stuff like that." I say quickly so I can get it over with.

"Ohh no. I'm sorry."

"It's okay. I'm sorry I ruined this for you. I feel so bad but you can still go on that date with her. It's your choice." I say because I don't want him to make a choice just off of what I told him right now.

"Don't apologize. Im not gonna go on that date." Arny says.

"W-Wait so your gonna stand her up?" I ask because he doesn't seem like the type to stand someone up.

"No I'll just tell her I can't. Plus I'd rather hang out with you then go on a date with her."

I don't know why but that made me smile. It made me really happy when he said that.
