During the time Ghost asked Price and Soap if (y/n) could distance himself from the battle and be a Pilot just for some time, the past few days (y/n) has torment his body way too much during almost all ground missions, he will die if he doesn't value his body. 

And is not like only Ghost knows both Soap and Price have already been thinking about it, but at the same time, they may lose manpower cuz other operators are also very busy. but aside from that; compared (y/n) to others he gets the most serious injuries.

They all agree that (y/n) will be off the warzone, he'll be signed to help escort supplies for the base. behind Ghost's mask he is relieved that (y/n) can suffer less ((A/n): are you sure about that) Ghost gave the news to (y/n) who was reading some pilot books.

"what." was his reaction "Falcon- out of all the operators where you put your body in most harm, I'm not saying you intentionally did it, but just use this time to let your body take a break" Ghost said thinking this is going to turn into an argument but "oh ok" was what he gets "spending time flying isn't a bad thing since I'm mostly trained as a pilot" (y/n) turning back to his book 

"alright, take your time to heal up" patting (y/n)'s head, in Ghost mind he plans to get better so no one will get hurt because of him and also to protect (y/n) from harm. Cause he now had feelings for him.

When (y/n)'s wounds were sealed but not entirely, he still went on to operate an aircraft, taking on his newly assigned task immediately. outside the warzone; he went to do some resource package escort for the base, things like firearms or food for the operators and other simple things.

When they are soldiers or operators being deployed, he'll wait till he's notified to pick them up (like saying 'Get prepared in 5 min' smth like that)

(y/n) will mostly chill in his assigned Aircraft unless he needs to pee otherwise he'll be on the pilot seat reading a book, (y/n) normally receives his notification 5 minutes earlier to pick the team up on time.

"time to go Falcon" the voice on the radio said from the control tower, (y/n) closed the book put it aside and started the engine taking off "May be a disaster there..." the radio spoke "Since when is it not" (y/n) chuckled taking off full speed.

Meanwhile At Ghost Team..

"We NEED AIR SUPPORT" Alex shouted "There will be soon" Captain Price shouted back "WHY DID NO ONE TELL US THERE WILL BE THIS MUCH VEHICLE" Ghost screamed through the gun fire, explosion and enemies shooting with a machine gun on top on armor vehicle plus those who are running around them using cracks of the building as cover.

"Hello there team" A familiar voice rang through their radio "Took you long enough" Price said "Sorry sir, gotta dodge those rpgs" Falcon fired multiple missiles "I can't land here captain" "There's one near here on the roof see ya there" "yes sir covering fire for you till then" just as Falcon finish speaking an rpg came flying right beside him forcing him to pull away "Jesus Christ!" the pilot curse.

The team got moving with the help of (y/n), it was a race with the enemies, and they could wipe them with machine guns if they got on the helicopter. the team ran through the smoke and destroyed buildings the dust was blown away by Falcon's arrival, and everyone got one board "Kill those mf" Alex cursed. 

both Alex and Price were on the big guns while Ghost got himself a rocket launcher on the heli, the team went on a rampage they didn't cease until there was no movement in the enemy forces "Time to go home" Price hitting the side of the helicopter 2 times, and the flew back to base.

Back at the base landing zone, the team was greeted in complete of their task, Falcon got down from his seat and did some stretching but he then got a call to pick up some package for the base, Again "Seriously?" sighing in defeat he went back.

Ghost noticed Falcon heading back and ran up to him "Why ya goin' back?" he asked "A call for pick up package" he replied simply "Who?" he felt suspicious and something was fishy to him "well I don't know but I will go check it out, don't worry I will fly back if something is fishy" Falcon giving the taller men a confident pat on the shoulder before leaving.

Ghost notified Price of the news and he was also cautious, he saw Nikto and called him "Aye Nikto! mind going with him? See what's up." Price pointed at Y/n "Falcon! Bring this guy with you!" he shouted Nikto jumped on the helicopter and they flew off.

Little did (y/n) know bringing Nikto was the best thing Price did for him.
