the place where Falcon was first found surrounded by trees was gone.

the task force arrived, looming around the desert looking for any clues of hospitality, using binoculars scanning the flat land "There" Soap pointed at some buildings afar "How many" Price asked 

"5 armored and maybe 10 or 14" Soap guessed "there's maybe one way in" Ghost added "the back up in coming soon we will drop in when they arrived, can ya put us somewhere near the entrance" Price asking the pilot at the end "it will be risky but I'll try"

2 minutes later two more helicopters came with some people inside "Move" 3 helicopters charged towards it firing missiles and machine guns, RPGs and bullet shots everywhere.

The pilot that carried the team tried to put them on landing but the tail was shot spinning the helicopter "You need to jump! I can get close enough to the building but I can't hold too long!" the pilot trying his best to control the spinning helicopter while the team battle with the force to grab the rope. 

The building was close enough and all of them swung onto it, Soap landed on the roof with Nikto, Price and Ghost crashed through the window.

-A short scene of (y/n)-

The medic team refreshed his blood flushing out those substances and before then they found that he was in a coma, when it started is unclear but there's a guess that it happened when they took him out of the helicopter. They had an oxygen mask for him to breathe and tubs flowing with his blood.

-back to the action-

Nikto helped Soap up "Captain you alright?" Nikto speaking from the coms "Yeah, so is ghost" Price replied both groan at the impact but no big damage. They met up and searched every single building for nuclear weapons "Got any signs?" Price asked, they split up scouting the area "Not here" Soap answered then Nikto "Ghost?"

Ghost entered a building with an underground path "I found a secret path" he answered "Be right there" Price replied.

Ghost continue deeper; it was bigger than he thought it was, like a base but shit. Peeking around corners he found enemies walking around, he quietly took them out easily and proceeded until he found the nuclear "target located" ghost speaking through coms he flinched when he heard someone behind, it was an enemy that just spotted him but they were shot dead by price in the head 

"good work" Price pat on Ghost shoulder "I think we got here earlier" something suddenly dropped echo from the tunnels, all of them turn with their guns ready, Price hand signal them to go forward and who would have guess it was Makarovs troops both side immediately went into gun fight 

"is Makarov!" Ghost yelled "Bastard gonna die here" Price with a death-threatening tone.

Makarov himself was somewhere commanding the troops as always, he watched his men fall one by one to the point he went in himself, inside the base was intense, the 141 needed to defend the nuclear from being taken while avoiding any fire or spark that can trigger it.

But victory was on their side, when Makarov joined in, the enemy advanced and they had to move back, but it was okay because they were doing just fine. Within hours Makarov was the only one left. They ping him on the floor Soap and Nikto one footstep on each arm, ready to execute him.

Price asks if Ghost wants to give him a piece, without any hesitating Ghost shot Makarov's stomach making him scream "This one is for my comrade you fucking tortured" said in a furious voice leaving the rest to Price who points the gun at Makarov's head "and this is from me" following a bang. The team left his lifeless body to rot while the others did the clean-up of the nuclear.

Ghost was desperate to go back and check (y/n) not knowing his condition.

-Time skip-

Although desperate to just zoom away he press it down cause not wanting to show that side of him to the captain, but he was the 1st to take his things off before heading to the room (y/n)'s at."Doctor what's his condition" awaiting some good news from the doctor 

"he's in a coma after absorbing too many unknown things we don't know, is not life-threatening at the moment but he was critical when he arrived, we believe he fell into coma when he came" the doctor splat out facts that were like bullets shotting though Ghost "you can see him if you want" leading him to the door before leaving.

Ghost opened it quietly to see (y/n) laying there with the heart sensor sound only, he was disbelieved almost breaking down "y/n.." he spoke so softly. 

Sitting beside the male holding his motionless hand and rubbing it gently he remembered the captain's words 

You better tell him whatever you're gonna say before he really dies

Taking deep breaths "Falcon? (y/n) whatever, if you can hear me I just wanna say...I uh...I may have fallen for you? But uh yeah I never had these feelings for a guy, but it pains me to see you constantly get yourself hurt, though it took me a while to realize and tell this to you. Just...stay with me longer..." holding the warmth of (y/n)'s hand against his balaclava.

since that interaction, Ghost will always visit (y/n) sometimes staying with him. It continues for 4 days.

It was the 5th day and it was midnight, (y/n) felt like he just woke up from a very long dream, his eyes were heavy like rocks, the moonlight shining through the window on his right, turning left he saw an already fallen asleep ghost with a hand holding his, he just hold him back weakly, he hears groaning before Ghost wakes up. 

Ghost met eyes with (y/n) whose eyes were half open "Y/n..?" he intoned "Hello...Ghost..." (y/n) smiled 

"Wait did you hear me talking before-" "Yes I did, and I do too Ghost. but maybe is just that...I was too focused at my job I forgot" 

"Welcome back" Ghost now holding (y/n)'s hand with both hands.

"come here for a second..." Ghost leaned close to (y/n) laying his forehead on his "Must be painful innit?" the word can define many things that Ghost has been through, with no holding back he pulled his mask above his nose kissing (y/n) taken by surprise for a second but he happily returns it, Ghost has long for it to happen, leaning to almost his entire body. 

(y/n) had broken it for the sake of air and he was possibly the only one who had seen the soft side of ghost "You should rest now" said Ghost "You can stay here, wouldn't wanna wake the others up" Patting the space he made for Ghost.

The two shared a bed, it was like a child and mother where (y/n) is the mother figure, Ghost hugs (y/n) listening to his steady heartbeat while being pat to sleep, the soft and gentle touch makes Ghost fall asleep in seconds.
