Dustin rushed Eddie to the hospital after the demo bat attack carrying him practically on his back the whole time until he reached the medical ward and burst through the doors with a yell "help! Can anyone help!" He cried , nurses came flooding through the doors towards the boy clutching Eddie by his side. "What happened?" a tall dark man with a grey moustache above his lip and worry lines carved into his face worryingly looked at the metalhead. "I-I uh he got attacked by some bats near skull rock can you just please help he's unconscious!" Dustin cried.

Eddie was pulled onto a stretcher and taken to a room followed by Dustin. "what's your relation to mr munson?" Asked the man "cousin" The boy lied wanting to be by his side. The man nodded before talking eddies top off showing the gapping wounds across his torso. Dustin stood back watching nurses and doctors hook Eddie up to Ivs and bandages soon covered his stomach.

"I need you Eddie please" mumbled the boy a single tear escaped his eye watching the scene before him, the cold white hospital lights beam down below the rushing nurses and doctors. The sound of chatter and cries echo through the building. Nothing but a cold empty feeling filled Dustin as he watched helplessly as his friend drifted into a sleep.

We hadn't heard a thing from Eddie and Dustin for three days now and I had grew worried. I hasn't eaten for hours and my head was banging "there out there ok" Robin tried to comfort me but I had enough of that. I got up looking done at the girl tears blurring my vision of the thought of the two "but-but what if there not rob?" A cry escaped my throat as I fell to my knees. The feeling of warm hands surround me as I cried "sh sh it's ok" Robin coed my sobs soon subsided as we sat there in each others embrace. But I soon heard a ring I stumbled up in a rush running to the ringing phone shaking in the hanger, I took the phone pressing it against my ear "hello?" A small voice echoed through the phone. "Dustin?! Is that you? Where are you?" I questioned my knees felt weak at the sound. "It's me it's me don't worry where at the hospital... eddi-

"What about Eddie what's wrong?" I rushed out my patience wearing thin "he's not good man just come down" Dustin's voice cracked. Oh god no. "I um- alright ill be there" i whimpered hanging the phone up. "Who was that?" Steve but into me as. "First of all do you need to know everything and second it was dust hes will Eddie and I'm going" I stated grabbing my coat. "Uh uh it's not safe have you seen the town it's practically black and white" Steve blabbered on.
I walked to Robin nodding my head towards the door urning a nod in reply she got up "sorry Stevey Wevey can't hear you!" Robin smiled sarcastically as she opened the door bowing down to me as we walked out hearing the yells of objection by Steve.

We drove over to the hospital watching white small flakes fall from the sky I looked over to Robin who looked back with a worrying gaze. We drove in silence as we approached the ward and got out. Soon entering the ward the smell of hand sanitiser and cleanliness filled my nose. We walked over too the front desk greeted  by a a short stubby women with chocolate brown hair and a wide friendly smile. "Hello girls how may I help you" she smiled "hiya can we go to Mr munsons rooms please I'm his.." I trailed off at the thought of what I could be to him. I need to see them and she definitely wasn't going to let me in just as a friend. She smiled and nodded "girlfriend?" She asked. My eyes widen at the though but a sharp nudge hit my stomach from Robin who smiled widely and nodded "y-yeah girlfriend" I smiled awkwardly.

She wrote down on her paper before nodding "walk down three doors and it's the one on the left" she smiled, I nodded quickly before running down the hall followed by Robin.

"Room 4 room 5, 6,7 this one it's this one!!" I looked through the door numbers quickly checking each one I looked at the number 8 standing before me. Robin smiled brightly back to me and nodded towards the door.I took a breath before grabbing the cold metal pulling down and pushing. The bright light covered me as I walked in the picture of Dustin sat slouched on the chair looking tired and beaten I rushed over at the sight. "Oh my god Dustin I though you were gone" I hugged the boy tightly as tears escaped the boy with a cry. "I tried to get to him but he didn't listen it's my fault y/n" Dustin sobbed into my chest. I cooed the boy rubbing his back whispering sweet nothings into his ear as his breathing slowed he broke away the sight of the boy broke me. His eyes red and puffy deprived of sleep and his brown curly hair all matted and dirty. "Listen it's not your fault ok I love you it's ok" I kissed his cheek, Dustin was like a brother to me and I had grown to be like his sister and protective for him. I loved him.

He nodded and sat back down wiping his eyes I turned to look at Eddie. My Eddie. Laid down his once bouncy brown hair covered in ash and dirty, bruising covered his face and his pink plump lips were cracked and red. "Oh Eddie" I whimpered walking towards the boy. "He's been out cold for a couple days they said it's a coma" Dustin's voice surrounded my ears. A coma,? How long will I loose him for. I sat beside him looking at him. He looked peaceful yet in pain. I gently took his hand in mine feeling the warmth cover mine. "I love you Ed's I never stopped loving you please don't get up" i crocked out. "You will always be my hero my love" I whispered pressing a single kiss to his hand.

(Robins pov)

She slowly kissed eddies hand seeing a tear slip from the fragile girl. I've never seen y/n so weak so upset and Protective for these boys I never realised how much they meant to her. She turned to me her eyes glassy "I'm staying here go back make sure the others are ok" she smiled weakly. I nodded looking to Dustin who agreed. "Be safe I can't handle you dying" i chuckled walking over to the girl I kissed her forehead and hugged her, probably longer then I should off but I have a feeling this won't work out for us this time. "Love ya" I smiled and walked out waving to Dustin and y/n.

Robin left promising me she would look after the others. "Hey Dustin check my bag there should be a jumper or sum" I smiled and pointed to the bag. He grabbed my black jumper taking off his shirt I covered my eyes laughing "for your modesty dude" I chuckled. After he mumbled a "done" I lifted my hands And then I saw that Henderson smile, I know this sounds cheesy but the one that lights up a room and makes me feel better about anything. "What u staring at?" He giggled like a little girl twirling around and blowing a kiss at me. "Dunno it's lost it's label" I smirked and wiggled my eyebrows, he smirked and walked over trying to be seductive "if you want my number just ask" he winked and walked away. I let out a snort and a chuckle escaped my throat. "Hendersonnnn" I yelled at the boy full of laughter.

"You know he never stopped asking if you were ok when we were in the upside down" he stopped and looked over beside me to Eddie. I looked back to Eddie who slept peacefully "I miss him" "he's here but not" I whispered. "I need him back dustin I can't live without him he's funny kind he protected me from the shit I went through, when I needed a lift in life he was there and he was my comfort, I can't imagine a day without him dust" I sobbed.
