Seeing the staff on their daily work, Athena smiled and bowed to them on the way when she saw them, though her feet carried her lightly all the way to Psy's office. They had been busy with GIRLGANG's future schedules whatsoever that Athena hadn't heard yet and dreads to hear. Though she heard that they all have been busy planning a year ahead on how they were going to debut the boy group, in which Athena has no idea as well but got on with it.
The halls all the way to Psy's office were usually quiet, or she could hear some fade music coming from his office at times, but this time, it was quiet and it seemed like he was on talk with someone either on the phone, hearing Psy's voice.
She was about to knock, because that's how she has been raised to do, but for some reason, hearing another woman's voice going along his that sounded familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time, Athena couldn't help but stop at his double door-ed office.
It was faint, the conversation more so in a quiet conversation that Athena couldn't decipher the words that came out from his mouth—though when she heard her name; her true name coming off someone's lips—Athena knew that whomever it was, they were talking about her.
She knocked.
The conversation stopped.
"Yes?"
"Dating someone in secret oppa?" Athena asked, loud enough for him and whoever it was out there to hear her. "Telling her wonderful stories about one of your favorite celebrities in the building?" her tone wasn't teasing—none of it was, it was a plain question that served a purpose of letting them grace her with her presence, and it was a question that offered a non-verbal answer.
There was nothing.
Athena was about to speak again, but was cut off by the big man.
"Come in Jiah."
Taking that as her cue indeed, the moment Athena opened the door and eyes fell on a certain woman who sat in front of Psy with long, pale legs on top of another—leaning on the armchair with her head tilted to the side, black hair stringing along that looked awfully familiar to her, the shape of the lips covered in red that almost looked identical to hers, eyes that seemed to match more to her late father's—Athena couldn't help but stare at the person she had been dreading yet, waiting all her life.
"Jiah," there was a ringing, awful delight yet agony hearing her voice. "Hello."
Athena looked at Psy, who stayed seated on his seat, leaning back without any expression on his face that Athena couldn't quite decipher. She had no questions though; no questions why the scene in front of her played out—she was almost suspecting.
"Did she invite herself in or did you invite her in?" Athena asked, eyes directly casted at Psy, who gave her a nod.
"I invited her in."
"You should've seen me here," Jiana sighed, allowing her eyes to rake over her younger sister's body. "I'm not here for you, don't worry."
"I should just leave then. Sorry for the bother." Athena looked away, was about to make her quick exit so she could hyperventilate later, she was stopped by the older woman herself.
"Are you just going to run away every time you see a problem in front of you?"
"Nice for you to acknowledge that you're a problem for me," Athena opened a sarcastic smile, enough to make the older girl chuckle—her pearly whites out in the display as she, too, opened a smile.
"Baby, we're sisters. I know when something is a problem for you or not."
And that was enough for the smile on her face to fade.
