We arrive at the old house. It was a lot creepier in person. The trees waved in the breeze and you hear the house creek every time there was a gust of wind. I really hate the feeling of this.

I feel my stomach rise up to my throat and my heart stop as I approach the house. I take large step to avoid the broken steps. I open the door and a gust of wind hits me. The musky smell is really bad. It also smells like death. I go deeper in the house and stop dead in my tracks.

I see a little girl in a black dress standing at the back door, looking at something. I guess she heard me because she turned around. I gasped and cover my mouth. She had blood all over her face and her eyes were pitch black. She twirled her hair in between her fingers and smiled at me. She giggled, took a deep breath and smiled at me.

"Hey Skylar! I heard we were gonna have new people in the home! It's so nice to have company!" She said as she skipped over to me. She looked me in the face and grinned.

"Oh silly me! I haven't introduced myself! How rude! I'm Lilah, I'm 12 and I'm dead!" She giggled again and looked at me.

"Be careful of my mommy and daddy. They can be very mean. I'll tell you more about me when we spend time together!" She skipped away and turned the corner. I followed her but when I looked, she was gone.

I hear my parents and sister come into the house. My mom comes over to me then wraps an arms around me.

"Now what do you think sweetheart? Isn't it big and wonderful?" She said then kissed my head.

"Were gonna fit right in." I whispered.

Later than night every thins moved in but he decided to sleep together in the living room. I get up to get water. I walked to the kitchen and grab a bottle of water.

"What are your doing here?" A deep voice says behind me. I turn around and see a man covered in blood and his eyes pitch black like Lilah's. A women comes from behind him and stands next to him.

"W-we bought this h-ouse." I say shakily. The man comes closer and leans into my face.

"This is my house, and I think it's time to get out."
