ENTERING THE GATES OF YOUR school along side your brother, you were minding your own business sipping on the milk you've bought along the way.
Them suddenly there's this girl who blocked your way, staring at you with eyes wide in anger.
“Who the fu– freak are you?” asking the lass with furrowed brows, dark irises never leaving her upcoming figure.
Face turning to the left the sound of her palm hitting the skin of your face resonated within the halls, a stinging sensation quickly spread throughout the muscle of your cheeks. You saw how Kokonoi's books dropped to the ground as your hand flew to your scorching cheek eyes wide in shock and anger.
“You don't have the rights to bully my brother!”
Scoffing, a small grin tugged up your lips black-colored orbs bore at her in a wide-eyed glare. “You don't have the rights to slap me either. Why are you even on grade six when you're this childish?”
Chuckling lowly, “Be thankful I don't fight with bitches like you. It lowers me to your level— a low-grade bitch.” rolling your eyes sassily, you began to pick up Kokonoi's fallen books throwing him a glare so that he would snap out of his shell-shock state.
Side-eyeing the bitc— girl who's a year higher than you, sticking your thumb out you gave her a thumbs down with a smug smirk plastered on your lips as you walk along your brother.
“Are you okay, y/n?” Kokonoi worriedly asked, trying to touch your reddened cheeks which only caused for him to receive a light slap on his hands.
“Don't touch it!” hissing at your twin, you puffed your cheeks irritated at how that stupid girl had succeeded to land a hand on your skin.
“Jeez, sorry. We should go to the clinic—”
“No need. It's just a slap.” waving your hand dismissively, your irises flew to blonde boy who entered the classroom.
All the irritation that bubbled your chest suddenly flew out of the building, a wide smile painted your lips as you wave your hand at Inupi.
“Seishu!”
Kokonoi narrowed his eyes at you, grumbling some incoherent stuffs you couldn't understand.
She changes so fast. The older twin mumbled nigher rolling his eyes at your cheery behavior upon seeing the blonde male.
“What happened to your cheek?” Inupi inquired, his uninterested ocean blue orbs scanned the red flush on your cheek.
Clicking your tongue at the irritating memory of some stupid senior who managed to slap you, “Got slapped.” you simply replied.
Both of Inupi's brows rose up, wondering who had guts to slap you and knowing your reputation around the school— he was surprised you weren't at the detention room.
Usually, you'd jump at every fight if you had a chance. Maybe the person who slapped you was just lucky you weren't in the mood to fight.
“Well they had the guts.”
An irk mark popped out of your cheek, glaring at the board infront of the class you clenched your fist. You were itching to punch that girl in the face but you held back not wanting to spend half of your day at detention. That girl was the older sister of the bully who confessed to you, that jerk must've run crying to his sister while pointing fingers at you because you kicked him in the balls.
Serves him right but you didn't know he was such a wussy to even have her older sister attack a younger girl like you. They were both idiots that's why you didn't want to waste time on trying to get your revenge.
Karma was just as the corner waiting to bite their ass.
You trail your gaze to the window beside you, the boys chattering beside you sounded like distant noises, you mind being clouded again by the memory of the other day's event.

The house was eeriely silent, leaving only your presence with the absence of the other household members. You skid through the hallways, having a bag of chips in your left hand as you munch on the junk food loudly leaving a trail of crumbs behind you.
The house was big enough for four people, though you lived here for years never have you really explored all the corners in sight. As a kid, you listened to your parents always saying to never tresspass in a room that wasn't yours. However, we all know that curiousity killed the cat but did that ever stop the cat from snooping around? No.
Your parents were not present for the moment along with your brother who has not yet returned from his cram school. You were the only breathing creature in the house, aside from the spiders, lizard and other insects. But only you have the rights to walk and barge inside the rooms.
You opened your brother's room first, noticing how it was more neat than your room, everything was in place and there were no excess clothings and garbage lying on the floor.
'Such a clean freak he is.' mumbling inside of your head, you saunter out of Kokonoi's room afraid that you might want to mess up his room.
Staring at your parents bedroom door, your palms met with the cold metal knob twisting it open only for it to click indicating it was locked. Looking around the dark halls, you took a hairpin from your locks tongue sticking out to the side as you work on picklocking the door.
'No one can keep me locked out!' Hearing a successful click from the other side, a victorious smile tugged the corners of your lips as you twist the knob open.
Strutting inside the restricted room, the space was cold and lacked of any form of light. Climbing on top of your parents large bed, you began to jump up and down and giggled to yourself.
Feeling the soreness in your muscle from jumping nonstop, you switched on the lamp beside the bedframe curious irises landed into the piece of paper on the bedside table.
Picking up the paper, you read the contents of the document. It wasn't hard for a child such as you who always observed the families in your neighborhood part ways.
It was divorce papers.

“Ms. Kokonoi?”
Snapping out of you trance upon hearing your homeroom teachers vocals boomed across the room, jet black hues meeting her gaze confusion painted your facial expression.
“Are you listening? Then please answer the question on the board.” the teacher says not leaving any space for argument.
Standing up from your seat with a sigh, grasping the chalk from her hands you swiftly answered the questions in the board writing without much of a thought before handing her back the chalk.
“V-very good, Ms. Kokonoi. You may return to your seat.”
Upon returning to you seat, you lean your head into the wooden desk groaning in annoyance. “I wish I didn't go to school...”
“Well, you'll be dumb.” hearing Kokonoi's voice beside you, tilting your head to face the elder twin as the latter was busy writing on his notes about the lesson. You on the other hand had no zest in learning basic education that everyone can read on books.
“I'm dumb when I want to be. I'm smart when I study.” you rejoinder in which Kokonoi merely shrugged his shoulder.
Maybe what you said was true that's why the latter didn't argue.
Well, occasionally I want to be dumb. So that there won't be a time that I'll regret being smart enough to understand things.
