SITTING INSIDE THE CAFE WITH Kokonoi and Seishu infront of you. You silently sip on your frappe, eyes staring at a distance after hearing what happened to the Inui family.
“No wonder you've become a money making prodigy.” uttering as you place down the beverage, dark irises glancing at your twin who was tapping his fingers against the wooden table.
“It's not your fault, Hime. I know you're blaming yourself, but it's not your fault. It's good enough that you managed to save Seishu and you did your best to help the Inui family.”
Your statement rendered both of the boys silent, Koko was caught off-guard that you knew about him silently blaming himself. You knew too well about your twin even though you've been seperated for years.
“I know that it's only natural for people to blame themselves after knowing they could have done much better... However, if you blame yourself more than you should, Hajime- you won't be able to leave her memory. Please, try to move on.”
“It's easy for you to say, y/n. You've never experienced it yourself—”
“Stop talking bullshit because you know damn well that I experienced heartbreak too. When I got seperated from you... you didn't think I wouldn't feel sad did you? My life was actual hell...” you mumbled staring at your hands, knowing that you might not relate to his pain of losing the person he adored and loved as a woman– but you can relate to the pain of heartbreak.
When you two got seperated, you were heartbroken. When you didn't find him and saw him from years, you were heartbroken. When you mother neglected you because she was too busy with her new family– you were heartbroken. You've experienced heartbreak all over again that's why you were depressed... poured out all your frustration through violence.
“Well, it's all in the past now. I'm never coming back to that woman's house. Her daughter's a bitch while the father was as dense as the air.”
“Why? Aren't you happy with them?”
Scoffing a laugh at Koko's question, you rolled your eyes toying with the straw in your drink. “Happy? I was miserable for years. I promised myself that after I got out of juvie I'd find you and never cross path with that family ever again—”
“What did you say?” Seishu queried in a mumble.
“You... were in juvie?” Koko's eyes went wide, realizing that you just said you went to juvie.
“Yeah?” replying nonchalantly as you continue to sip on your drink, Koko slammed his palms into the table earning some of the customers attention.
“You got in fucking juvie?!”
“Settle down, Hime. What's the big deal? I'm sure you were sent there more than me.” raising a brow at your twin, Kokonoi's let out an audible sigh before returning to his seat.
“Seriously, y/n? What were you up to when I was gone?” massaging his temple at the news that reached his ears, Kokonoi didn't know what to do with your nonchalant behavior.
It always gets on his nerves that you were so calm about almost everything.
“Beating up thugs while trying to gain information about you.”
Then it settled to him. You did it all for you to find him.
“I was also trying to find you or at least keep tabs on you... I just got busy.” Koko pursed his lips, noticing the curving of your lips upward.
“Busy making money? Or busy obsessing over money?”
The latter sighed, you were at it again. He hated the fact that when he argues with you he can never win unless you let him too. Your words just hit him too much that he was always rendered silent.
