History/Quick backstory: Saoirse comes from a small portion of Europe. She was stolen from her home when she was 17 years old. The slavers took her along with a group of other girls. The group was destined for Rome, where the girls would be sold off to various places. She was paired with two other girls. The slaver told an elaborate story, painting them as "daughters of Minerva herself" and their heroics. The owner of a female-only training school bought the three of them. Eventually Saoirse earned the alias "Minerva" in reference to her story and her mannerisms. Eventually she earned enough coins to buy herself a helmet and bracers, all with an owl motif on them.
