History/Quick backstory: Kaia is a merfolk. That means that they have a tail and they can breathe underwater. They also have the added ability to communicate with sea creatures. They live in the sea with their parents James and Kamari Phelps, and their younger sister Raelynn. It's important to note that a lot of merfolk are genderfluid, and Kaia is not exception. From a young age they knew they were truly genderfluid, somedays they felt feminine, some days they felt masculine and some days they feel in between. They enjoy swimming around the sea, exploring and meeting all the creatures. When they can they like to slip away and watch the humans. There's something so fascinating about the human world. They usually go by the name Kaia but sometimes they'll ask that you call them Kai.
