History/Quick backstory: Vera was born in the slums. Her mother died during childbirth and her father wasn't great. Eventually he dropped her at an orphanage when she was 5. He claimed that she was "no good" (among other things that won't be repeated). Vera kept to herself, to prevent any bullies. Eventually she left the orphanage when she was 12 to live on the streets and steal for a living. When she was 16 she stole from a pirate ship. She was captured and eventually she joined their crew. Eventually she would keep enough treasure to buy her own ship and crew. And now she is a fearsome pirate on her own, stealing from all sorts of villages and kingdoms.
