Hi. Here is another chapter.

After inhaling a deep breath I opened the door and walked into the classroom. "Hello Ms. Jacobs. Care to explain why your so late?" The teacher asked me from behind his desk. I froze. "Uh...sorry." I said hurrying to my seat next to Stiles. "Detention." The teacher said. I frowned at my desk. "Objection!" Stiles said standing up from his seat. I almost laughed aloud but I was still trying to figure out what he was doing. "Stilinski, what is it now?" The teacher asked sounding irritated. "I said objection, you know like I object." I fought off the urge to smile but not without difficulty.

"Your objection just earned you detention. No more interrupting my class." Stiles smiled at me as he sat back down. I returned the smile and faced forward. He wanted to have detention with me, how sweet. What would I do without him? Scott wasn't in class and neither was Allison. The door opened and Jackson walked into the class. "Mr. Whitmore, you have detention." The teacher said as soon as he shut the door. Jackson frowned and looked over at me. His eyes locked onto mine and then he looked away. He sat down in his usual seat. "What was that about?" Stiles asked noticing Jackson looking at me. "It's nothing important." Stiles gave me a worried look but then looked down at the book on his desk. I focused in on my hearing and heard the sound of someone crying. It sounded like a girl. I looked around the classroom mentally taking attendance. Lydia is the only one missing. I raised my hand. "Yes, Ms. Jacobs?" The teacher said. "Can I go to the bathroom?" I asked. He nodded. "Go ahead." I stood up quickly. Stiles gave me a look that meant he knew I was up to something. I ignored him and walked out of the classroom.

As soon as I shut the door I focused in on my hearing again. I followed the sound of crying to the girls bathroom. I walked inside the bathroom. "Lydia? It's me Serenity." I said approaching one of the stalls. I saw her black heels peeking out from the stall. "Go away." She said in a weak voice. "I just want to talk." I said biting down on my lip. The truth is me and Lydia don't get along well but we are going through similar experiences. She has illusions just like me but she isn't half human and half wolf like me, at least I'm pretty sure she isn't. "Please." I said standing there awkwardly. The stall door started to open slowly. I backed away from it as the door opened all the way. Lydia walked out with her mascara running down her eyes. I don't know why but I felt sadness to see her this way. I know what she is going through and I feel it connects us in some way. Before I knew what I was doing I wrapped her in a tight hug. She pulled away awkwardly. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Does it look like I'm okay?" She said throwing up her hands. I frowned. "I was just asking." I snapped.

"Thanks but I am perfectly fine." She said. I immediately knew she was lying. "I know what your going through. The illusions that seem so real and you feel like no one believes you. I believe you, I really do." I said as she wiped the tears from her eyes. "I...I don't know what your talking about." "It's fine if you don't want to talk about it but I'm here if you change your mind." She looked down towards the floor and then back up at me. "How did you know about the illusions?" She asked. I smiled, she finally opened up to me. "I have them too." Her eyes widened. "You do?" "Yes and they are terrible." I thought back to the blood pouring out my nose and felt a chill. "Your stronger than you think. I know what the illusions do and it's hard to live with them." I added. She seemed to relax. "I...I don't understand, why me? I'm so confused. I'm probably just going crazy." She said. "No, your not going crazy." I said shaking my head.

"That's not the only thing bothering me..." She said wiping another tear from her eye. "You can tell me." I said with a friendly smile. What has gotten into me? I'm suddenly nice to everyone who doesn't like me. "It's Jackson, I miss him." The tears in her eyes started to pour out again. She turned away from me and wiped them. "Then tell him." I suggested. She shook her head. "He doesn't care about me." I actually felt sorry for Lydia in that moment. Jackson broke up with her not to long ago and she acted fine, now she looks broken, almost fragile. "You don't know that, I'm sure he still has feelings for you." I said trying to comfort her. "No, he doesn't." I pulled tissues out of my purse and handed them to her. She took them and wiped her eyes. "You can't tell anyone about this." She said sounding panicked. Her reputation must mean a lot to her. "I won't." "Do you promise?" She asked. I nodded. "I promise." She gave me a weak smile. "I'm going to go to class. I can't stay in the bathroom crying all day." She said with a small laugh. "Okay. If you need to talk, I'm here." I said with a smile. She nodded and walked towards the door. I told Jackson almost the same thing this morning. Lydia shut the door behind her as she left.
