My skin was covered in goosebumps as I hurried down an empty hallway that I didn't recognize. "Help!" I heard someone yell. It sounded like...Stiles? No, I can't let anything happen to him. I ran down the hallway and tried to locate him. I couldn't find him anywhere. "Derek. This isn't funny." I said with tears coming from my eyes. "Stiles!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. Nothing, not even a whisper. I saw a boy walk in front of me. I didn't know who he was at first but then I remembered Matt from the lacrosse field. He held a gun in his hands and smiled at me. "Stiles isn't available." He said as he pulled the trigger. I fell to the floor and everything went black.

When I opened my eyes I saw that I wasn't in my bed. I was in the middle of the woods. "Stiles!" I shouted immediately. "Your always calling for him, aren't you? How pathetic." Erica. I whipped around to face her. Boyd and Isaac were behind her. "Where's Derek?" I asked confused. She ignored my question and I heard a scream, it was Stiles again. I jumped up from the ground and ran as fast as I could only to be pulled down by someone. I looked up expecting to see Erica but I saw Jackson instead. His skin was turning into that of a reptile and he had claws extending from his hands. "Jackson?" I asked searching his eyes. "Stay out of my way." He said in a deep voice. He picked me up and threw me into a tree. I let out a groan but quickly got up. Jackson was already gone by the time I recovered from the blow.

"Alright Derek, you can come out and kill me now." I said annoyed. My nightmares feel real but I have to keep reminding myself that there aren't. I heard him laughing. "That was interesting. I didn't get to control your nightmare this time but it was quite...interesting." He appeared from behind one of the trees. I frowned. "Just kill me and get it over with." "I'm afraid I can't do that, it's your nightmare this time." He said throwing up his hands. I ran towards him and knocked him onto the ground. He hadn't expected me to do that and I had the advantage.

I threw him onto the ground and started to kick him. He laughed. "Your a monster, just admit it to yourself." I stopped and backed away from him. "No, I'm not." I ran away from him and into the woods. I still have to find Stiles. Gerard bumped into me. How had I not expected him to show up at some point? He smiled and took out his sword. "Now, let's finish what we started." I heard another scream from Stiles as the sword came in contact with my skin. I let out a small cry as my body dropped to the ground.

As soon as I opened my eyes I saw Rebecca standing over me. "It's true, you do have nightmares. I thought they were lying." She said staring at me with wide eyes. "What did they tell you?" I asked knowing that she was talking about Allison's family. "Everything." She said backing away from me terrified. I stood up from the bed and walked closer to her. "Please don't hurt me." She begged. I frowned. "I'd never hurt you." "Yes you would, they told me what you are." I wrapped my arms around her attempted to comfort her but she pulled away. "Just stay away from me." She said as she ran out of my room. I felt a small pain in my chest, I knew she would hate me. I quickly got dressed in a white and blue long sleeve shirt, black jeans, and my converse sneakers. I did my hair and hurried down the stairs.

My mom was sitting at the kitchen table. "Hey." I said casually. "I see Rebecca made it home okay." She said not even saying hello. "Yeah. She got in last night. She was...um at a friend's house." I lied. "That's strange. She told me she had to stay late at school for a project." I froze. "Oh yeah, that's right. I must have heard her wrong. I've been really tired lately." She shifted in her seat. "I know your lying. You've been lying ever since we arrived at Beacon Hills." I bit my lip and didn't respond. I don't enjoying lying but I can't tell her that I'm a shape shifter or that Rebecca was taken in by werewolf hunters. "What's been going on with you lately? And don't think I didn't notice that you didn't come home last night." "Nothing is going on, I'm fine." I lied. She didn't look convinced. "I'm fine, really. I have to get to school." I said walking away from her slowly.
