Awaking to small sparks from the almost smouldered fire, I sat up and streched, seeing my now cleaned clothes on the small nightstand next to the bed. Getting up and getting dressed in my clothes, buckling my armour on me, and placing my swords on my back, ready for the final part of my travel to Kaer Morhen for the winter.

As I exited my room the floor creaked softly under my weight, and I walked out of the inn to the stables. Once I got to the stables I checked to make sure my elixirs and things were all still in Rivers saddle bags, before placing her saddle on her and fixing it and her saddle bags to her.

"Lets go girl, the final part of the trip has arrived. It'll be nice ot see them after so long...most of them." I mumbled to her before climing into the saddle and starting the final part of the journey. As River trotted down the path to reach Kaer Morhen, my mind drifted to how Vesimir might react to seeing me, along with most of the boys.

After grabbing the nessisary elixers for at least a few years travel and packing them away, I grabbed out a peice of paper tucked away, usually used for maps, but it had been discarded for years. I calmly wrote to vesemir, to inform him to my long absence that would occur, "I must inform you I wont be able to stay here for winter the next few years. When I will come back, rather....if I come back, I cannot say. I cannot handle being in his presence. You've watched me grow up. You can read me like a book, so I know you can tell exactly whom im speaking of, and why I cannot see him. I've sent word to whom i'll be staying with, and ill be with them for as long as possible. Dont worry about me, and dont let the others worry either. - Y/N" Folding the note, and leaving it on my desk, I grabbed my things, leaving Kaer Morhen.

Snapping out of my daydream, I guided River to stay on the path, watching as the clouds slowly opened up to show some sun.

"This'll be interesting, wont it girl?" I patted her neck, causing her to respond with a small huff. Looking up at the sky again, i smiled, happy to be going home after so long.
