The virus of sins

Part 13 Two lost souls.

"Sister.. were you able to get any news on where the kids went?"

It was late when the Orchid orphanage alarm went off. It looks like two of the kids went missing and with no evidence as to where. Everyone was in a panic over it but nobody seemed to care about the kids. Rather for the orphanage's reputation..

".. I'm hungry..I need food.."

The little girl said while almost dragging herself towards her brother. He was unable to walk from hunger and both were getting weaker by the second.

"Don't worry about food.. I promise to find something for both of us.."

The two kids were walking aimlessly around the city, hoping to find some food but then they suddenly stopped and hid to the sound of two people yelling at eachother..

"You wouldn't dare to do anything to me.. you don't have the guts to lay a single finger on your father Aline!"

The girl stood silently above her father aiming a gun to his face. The man was surprisingly calm and didn't seem to worry about the situation that he was in at all.

"you have done nothing... you haven't been a good father to me or my brother. You are just a pathetic man taking orders from someone that killed his own wife. You deserve nothing more than death."

The girl said and placed her finger around the trigger to finally finish him off

"You are nothing more than a follower to him. You are an awful father and I don't want to be associated with your last name! I AM NOT AN ABBOTT ANYMORE!"

...silence. The gun fell to the ground followed by a sudden giggle escaping the girl's lips. She killed her own father with a bullet to the head and three to the chest. She picked up the gun and that's when she noticed the two kids looking at her. They were both in shock and disbelief of what happened.

"You... killed him?... why did you..do it?"

The boy got up with his younger sister holding his hand and crying. The girl didn't know what to do until she saw their ruined clothing.

"..Hey hey there's no need to be afraid he was a bad person after all..If you want you can live with me.. I'll be happy to take care of you both"

The two kids looked at eachother and nodded, finally happy that they found someone to look after them.

"My.. name is Roman ma'am and this is my sister Ace..we were forced to live in an orphanage that didn't treat us equally so.. we escaped in order to find some food and maybe a home.."

The girl felt bad for the two almost immediately and took them both into her embrace..

"Don't worry... you can call me Charline now.. I'll make sure to take care of you and give you both a proper home.."
