"Oh, Taylor, it was wonderful!!" I squealed into the phone. "I found out a lot about him, in the two hours I spent there! And he even sung! He has a great voice, and-"

"Whoa!" Taylor cut me off, "Calm down." I heard her laugh, a sweet melodious laugh through the phone. "So? Slow down, and give me every detail you can!"

She shouted into the microphone, causing me to flinch."Yeah, yeah...sure Taylor."

And so I did, I gave her the play by play, with Tay comments added in. -- "He sang to you? How cute!!" -- "He tried to kiss you? And you didn't let him? Why?" -- "I did not steal your car! You gave me your keys!"

We spent an hour giggling over my date before we finally went to sleep. I only hope Saturday would rock this hard too. I lay back staring at the ceiling wondering what the day could have in store for me tomorrow. I sighed and fell asleep.

***

I woke up from an amazing dream to my radio blaring. I slammed my hand down on the snooze button. I forgot that I had something to do before I got to go out. I got up, with a groan, and changed into my Bambi sweatshirt and favorite jeans. I went downstairs for breakfast with thoughts of what I could be doing today. I miss him a lot even if it was less than twenty-four hours ago that we sat at that table and sang our favorite songs. My thoughts were interrupted by a song,

Maybe this is wishful thinkin'... Probably mindless dreamin'! "Taylorrrrrrrr...." I groaned at my phone. I may have meant Taylor Swift, who's lyrics were blasting in my ears or Taylor McKinley, who was probably the one calling. I'd go back to December... Taylor sung, and I finished with my phone as I answered. "All the time." Sure enough, it was Tay calling me.

"What?" I grumbled at her. "Why are you even up at 7:30?"

"Can I borrow some money?" Are. You. Freaking. Kidding me?

"Why do you need money?" Actually, I was quite curious...

"I need money for a new dress."

"What dress? Why do you need a dress?" The curiosity continues

"For a party." she tells me

"What party?"

"My boyfriend's sister's wedding."

"Who's what now? How long have you had a guy and why didn't you tell me? We're best friends!"

"About 2 weeks, I know, not very long, but it's next weekend and he doesn't want to go by himself, and his sister wanted him to bring someone.  I haven't told anyone, for a few reasons. First, I was gonna tell you Thursday, but I couldn't find you at the party. Then we were freaking out over this 'masked lover' thing. And also, because I was afraid of what you'd say- He's twenty-three." I froze when she said this.

No way. Just... No way. "What the hell Taylor?" I yelled at her. "I can't... I'll be right back." I screamed into my pillow. Twenty-three?! This guy was five years older than her!

"What were you thinking?" I asked. "Your parents grounded you for months over that tat of yours, if they find out about this I may never see you again!"

"Ummm....I don't know. We met a while back, and started talking around New Years. Nothing serious, yet."

"Okay, fine. So..." I giggled a bit. "What's he like? Hows he look? Is he H-O-T-T HOTT?"

"The extra tee is for That-boy-is-hooooooot!!" We both laughed at our best friend joke.

"Okay okay explain!" I said

"Well, he has dirty blonde hair, and green eyes. His name is Andre'. Andre' Scott. He's got a lot of muscle, but he's not ripped. Andre' is really sweet and thoughtful, and he loves to read and write. So... Can I borrow some money?"

"Oh, Taylor..."

"You know I'll pay you back bud!" She said

"Yeah I know! But still, do you know how many amazing dresses you have? Just wear the one you had on at my party." I suggested.

"Can't. Jeremy Collins spilled red punch on me, it's in dry cleaning."

"Okay, what about your bridesmaid's dress from when my dad got remarried?"

"That one is so long though!" She complained.

"So wear mine! I cut it short and added lace and net to it. You still have those gloves I gave your for your thirteenth?" I ask

"Yeah."

"Okay, wear those and the pendant your mom got you for your fourteenth! Perfection!"

"You see? This is why I love having you as a best friend. Fashionista advice."

"I love ya too girlie! Now begone! I have stuff to do!" I say

"Oh, come get the door, I'm here."

"What?"

"Yeah girl! I had nothing better to do, so I came to help you with your chores and homework and whatnot. I don't wanna ring your doorbell! Just come get it!"

***

"So, you meeting Charlie again today?" Tay asked as I passed her dishes to dry

"Nah, actually Drew & I are going to see Vampaneeze Attack tonight."

"WHAT? And I wasn't invited to this?"

"Aren't you hanging with Andre' tonight?"

"Yeah but you guys didn't know that!!"

"Okay. Hey Taylor! Wanna go see Vampaneeze Attack with me & Drew tonight?"

"Nah. I'm going to meet up with Andre' and his sister."

"Oh alright." I giggled "Come on girlie! Let's go get dressed."

***

"Two tickets to Vampaneeze Attack, please."

Drew and I waited for the tickets as we stood outside in the snow flurries, our breath fogging the glass window. I must have been shivering because not a moment after I thought It's cold out here. Drew put his jacket around me and rubbed my arms.

"Better?"

"Yeah. Thanks Drew." I smiled as he paid for the tickets and we walked in. We bought popcorn and went into theater thirteen.

***

"That movie was so AWESOME!!" Drew said as we left the theater and got into his car.

"Amazing!! Did you see the way Darren ripped that Vamp's head off?"

"Yeah! And when the little people rebelled?"

"Oh my GOSH! It was amazing!"

"Yeah. So, dinnertime?"

"Nah man! Look at the time. Let's just hang at my place and order Chinese."

"Alright."
