Part 1: New house

I've only met my cousin dustin twice and once was when I was a baby so it doesn't count but I'm assuming I'll have fun living with him and my aunt, maybe? Hopefully. What's the worst that could happen? We are cousins after all.

Sorry your probably wondering why I'm going to my cousins anyway, well my mom just got a new job there but we don't have the money for a house in Hawkins but hopefully when she starts working we will get enough to at least buy a trailer house. But for now we are living with Dustin and His mom. Who's also my aunt.

The flight from New York to Hawkins Indiana is nearly 3 hours! Which is a lot for me who has barely ever been on a plane.
As soon as we get there Dustin's mom answers the door and hugs my mom and I say hi to Dustin they show us our rooms and we unpack. My room is in the basement but I don't care I like the peace and quiet.
Dustin said he is in something called hellfire club that is hosted in his basement but I'm guessing it's just some teenagers reading some magic fantasy book so I'm guessing it won't be too loud.
When you Finnish unpacking it's around 3:00 pm so dustin invites you to go with some of his friends to the video store. You agree and you guys grab your bikes. ( you brought one from home)
You start driving your bikes and soon get to the video store Dustin's friends aren't there yet and you go inside. You ring the bell at the counter and someone pops out from under the counter "Hello miss what would you like to purchase from the ye old video store?!" You jump a little in surprise as a man with fluffy hair jumps up. "Ummm who are you?" You ask. "Well I'm Steve Harrington and wh-" he gets cut off by a woman with short brown hair walking behind the counter "Steve your going to scare all of our costumers! Now shoo! Sorry about him I'm robin whats your name?" You answer and say "Hi robin I'm y/n!" Dustin comes into the store with his friends.

There are three kids with him dustin talked about one of them who I might get along with well her name was max and she has ginger red hair and likes riding on her skateboard and listening to music and I see why dustin would think we get along since I do the same type of things at my old house in New York.
Steve comes out from behind the counter and him and Dustin do some kind of weird handshake while robin groans and says "do you really have to do this every time guys?" They ignore her and finish.
"Guys this is y/n my cousin I talked about they will hang out with today if u don't mind." Dustin exclaimed. The red head girl then said " of course we don't she is welcomed any time!" You smile and blush a little. You glance at Steve and his jaw is literally on the floor. "YOUR HENDERSON'S COUSIN?!" Steve says shouting which was completely unnecessary.
