Part 9: the storm

  You hang out at Eddie's house and talk for a while. You look at the time and realize schools over and Eddie has hellfire tonight. "Don't you have hellfire tonight?" You say to Eddie who is eating ice cream. "Oh yea." He says putting the ice cream back into the  freezer.

He goes to grab his hellfire shirt but you see it on the couch. You grab it and stick it into the fridge to mess with him. "Hey have you seen my hellfire shirt?"Eddie says walking into the room shirtless! You can't help but stare at him.  "No I haven't seen it." You say in almost a whisper. "Can I get some water?" You ask. He goes to the shelf and grabs a cup and then grabs the water pitcher from the fridge. He pours the water into the cup still shirtless. He puts the pitcher into the fridge but pauses when he sees the shirt.

"Sweetheart? Did you put this shirt in here?" He said in a serious tone. You laughed. "No! Why would you think that." You said now full on laughing. He put the water down and walked over to you. And whispered into your ear "run." You quickly ran to his room Eddie chasing you playfully. You then ran to the bathroom and to the kitchen in the living room he caught up to you and threw you onto the couch and started tickling you.

"Hahahahaha! stop! stop! hahaha!" You say barley able to catch your breath. "That's what you get for throwing my shirt into the fridge." Eddie said.  He put his hellfire shirt on and went outside you followed. It was super dark and cloudy and Your pretty sure you heard thunder. Eddie grabbed your hand as you guys were looking into the sky as it started pouring.

You and Eddie ran into the van he still opened the door for you even though it was pouring out.  He closed the door and got in the van you guys started driving. It was full on thunder storming out. Lightning was knocking down trees as Eddie was driving Swerving to avoid them.

A tree fell right through the middle of the street. It wasn't possible to go through. "What are we going to do now?" You told Eddie. "I don't know we could turn around or find another rout?" "I have an idea!" You say as you open your door. You go to the other side and open Eddie's. "What's going on?" Eddie asked. "You'll see."

You grab Eddie's hand and stand in the middle of the street. "Can I have this dance?" You ask Eddie. Meanwhile soaking in the rain and hearing thunder.
"Of course!" He grabs your hips and you grab his shoulders. You guys slow dance to the sound of rain. "This may seem kinda stupid but I've wanted to do this since I was a little kid." You say blushing. "That's not stupid it's adorable. I really like you y/n." "I like you too Ed's." You stand up on your top toes and kiss him.

You keep dancing until you see a big truck stop in front of you the lights on the truck extremely bright in your faces Eddie holds you in his arms protecting you. The guy steps out of his truck. "Are you two ok do you need help getting somewhere?" The guy asks. "No sir it's just that this tree fell in front of out van can u help us move it?" Eddie says to the man "I can try." The man helps us move it and he leaves we get in the car and go to Dustin's house.
