Part 5: smoke

    You wake up snuggled into Eddie's arms barley able to breath but amazed and how peaceful he is laying there perfectly. You start to close your eyes again until u hear the alarm clock go off.  It was annoyingly loud and Eddie almost feel out of bed. He quickly turned it off. "I'm sorry about that sweetheart I'm not used to guests."  He says.

"it's ok I don't mind. What time is it?" You ask. "6:30 almost time for school." He said You had forgot about starting at the new school luckily your mom registered you in time. "Oh yea I should probably call my aunt and tell her that you will drive me to school." You say. You get up and go over to the phone in the kitchen and call her.

"She said it's fine as long as I make it on time.  I don't want to be late on the first day of school." You tell Eddie.  "do you mind if I use your shower?" You ask.  "Of course you can." He says.  You go to the bathroom and luckily didn't forget your clothes this time and went to the bathroom. Luckily You didn't forget to grab a pair of clothes from your house for the day.

After you finished your shower you were getting dressed and went back to Eddie's room and realized you had forgotten your school bag. You started walking to the kitchen when you heard the fire alarm start. You jumped a little at the blasting noise of the alarm. "Eddie!!" You yelled loudly. "In here!!!" He yelled back from the kitchen.

You started walking in the direction of the smoke but is was extremely thick. You felt tears stream down your face mostly because of the smoke in your eyes but also afraid that Eddie was hurt so you kept walking until u saw him trying to push the smoke out the door and waving a towel around. As soon as you saw him you ran to him and hugged him.

"Sorry I'm a horrible chef." He said laughing a little. "It's ok." You said still crying. "Y/n Are you ok?" Eddie asked. He lifted your face so he could see it and he immediately dropped the towel on the ground and started wiping your tears. "Are you crying because you were afraid of me being hurt?" Eddie asked.

"Well of course I was, there was smoke filling the rooms and I couldn't find you." "I'm sorry, I should have gone to find you. But the only thing that's hurt is the bacon that is now a plank of wood." He said laughing a little and you had started laughing too.

You told him about your school bag and he drove you to your house so you could pick it up but you can out of your house with not only your bag but Dustin as well. He jumped in the van and Eddie opened the passenger seat for you like he did last night. "How many times are you going to do that." "As long as you use my van for transportation." Eddie said while you giggled a little.  "ew." Dustin blurted out.

You rolled your eyes and Eddie laughed driving away.
