I hate people

I walked into the video tape store Steve worked at, with my head very low. I had the worst day at school because of some stupid jerks. And I thought I would go see my favourite person to cheer me up.

"Hey babe." Steve says, while stocking some shelfs. "She watched fast times." Robin kept saying, going on and on about it. "Shut up robin, you've explained it all day over ten thousand times." Steve scoffed, coming over to me giving me a hug sensing I'm down in the dumps.

"My day sucked. Like mega sucked." He stroked my head, sighing. "Why what happened?" He asked eagerly. "You know that kid, Jason?" He took a while but realised who he was, "Oh yeah, what about him." I went and sat on the counter, organising some things,"Well, in class I failed my biology test, which like never happens and he found enjoyment out of that, and then at lunch he came up to my table and said "Hey girlie, how do you feel about failing? Must of hurt." And then I walked away from him and he stole all my notes and poured milk all over it and then the rest on my bag and tripped me up. Infront of everyone."

Steve stood between my legs and hugged me again, he didn't wanna go all mama bear mode because he knew I hated that. "Do you want me give you a ride home and we can watch the breakfast club, or something else with ice cream, anything?" I looked up at him and smiled. "We can go home, yeah." I jumped off the counter, grabbed my oddly smelling bag and we walked out the shop, "Hey, WHAT ABOUT YOUR SHIFT!!" Robin screamed, but he ignored it.

We finally got back to my house, we went straight to my room with no explanation from my mum, I lied down in my bed and put my head under my pillows, honestly I just wanted to sleep. "Do you wanna sleep for today, it is around 7ish." He said, sitting on the bed. "Yeah, let me get ready I guess." I went to my bathroom, put Steve's hoodie on, brushed my teeth and put my hair up. Somehow he was already ready after like 5 minutes. He was already lying in bed, half asleep. I laid in bed with him, breathing in the beautiful smells of his hair, you loved the coconut scent of his shower gel. He pulled me in tight, and he set his head in the crook of my neck and, slowly yet surely drifted asleep.
