"He was your first love. I intend to be your last."

Now..

The footsteps echoed off the apartment walls and as they neared, a certain vampire's breath got quicker out of fear.

Katherine twisted her hands against the vervain coated ropes but to no avail. She was utterly stuck and under control of the man she hated most.

Klaus Mikaelson.

Well, not exactly. It was Klaus Mikaelson in the form of Elena's history teacher. Alaric Saltzman.

The smirk he wore made her sick but she did not show it. A trick she learned along the long roads of life.

The steps ended in fromt of a closet and he flicked through. The sound of hangers broke the silence until he turned around and on either side of his arm was a shirt.

"Ugh, what is this guy, 'safari sam'? Okay, bad or badder?" He questions the tied up girl.

She takes a second deciding, as if she were to choose the wrong one he would kill her.

"The darker one suits you better." She decides after taking a breath.

"Ah! Thank you hunny. Okay, pop quiz. The dagger in white ash is still in the Salvatores possession, correct?" He asks whilst putting on the shirt Katherine choose.

"The dagger was used to kill Elijah, you'll find him in the basement of the Salvatore house."

Klaric gives a small hum, "That dagger needs to stay exactly where it is. The last thing I need to do is resurrect Elijah. That guy's a buzzkill." He mumbles the last part under his breath.

"Don't forget you're on the outs with your girlfriend, Jenna." Katherine reminds him.

"Right. Elena's aunt. For, uh- all the lies about Isobel. What else?"

He stalks toward her and she gives a tiny gulp before answering, "That's it."

Despite the gulp being tiny, he still caught it. He gets closer, bending down to run his hand down the side of her face. "Tsk."

She jumps as he makes contact with her face.

"So jumpy." He comments with a smirk on his face.

"Please. Kill me," She pleads, "I've told you everything I know." He gets closer to her face.

The air surrounding them becomes tight as one speaks and she doesn't dare move.

Klaric squints at her before his face drops into a deadly glare, "You're hiding something from me."

She in fact was hiding something. Something he would burn the town down for. But the fear of him possibly acting out and killing her kept her from confessing. Instead, she settled for something else that wouldn't provoke him much.
