here we are you're first day of middle school (sixth grade), the only friend you can really trust is your newly found best friend, Steve Harrington. You tell him EVERYTHING and that isn't an exaggeration, all your problems you have ever had he has always been there for you. He has a bundle of his own problems and you have always done your best to comfort him, but he was always just better at comforting than you were. He is a year older than you but still in the same grade due to him summer birthday. He is one of the kindest boys you have ever met, he doesn't seem to like your brother too much but that's just one more thing you two have in common. He might be the kindest kid you have ever met but he definitely isn't the smartest, you have to help him on a daily basis with his homework. But he makes up for it by buying you snacks and biking them over to your house every other Friday. You guys constantly talk about your futures and how you never want to stop being best friends. You talk about your crushes to one another and tell each other about all of your feelings. He has amazing hair, and he seems to never have a bad hair day. you wake up at 6am and jump up to dig around your closet trying to find a nice outfit for the first day of school. you finally decide on a plain black t-shirt with some cuffed denim shorts, you add on a black belt and some black high-top converse to complete the look. you have pretty wavy hair to the point where it isn't quite classified as curly, but it definitely isn't straight. you brush out said hair and leave it natural for your first day. school starts at 8 and it's just now approaching 7 so you grab your bag and hurry off to the kitchen for breakfast. You eat some toast with butter and go out to the garage to grab your bike, as you watch the garage door rise up you see Steve at the end of your driveway waving at you with his hair looking as good as ever. You bike to school together and get there right around 7:50 good timing so you still have time to make it to class before first bell. you lock up your bikes on the bike stand and do your special handshake before parting ways and heading to separate classes, this year will be a whole lot different considering that you will only have one class together as opposed to last year when you were always together. You arrive at first period which is a math class, just awesome. You eat lunch together and then head to history which is your only class you will have together all year. You bike together after school until you finally part ways when the streetlights turn on. A/N i hope you enjoyed my first chapter of this story and there will be a time skip in the next chapter.
