turns out this isn't the life for me . But it will have to be if i want respect for myself . also I need to learn self defence anyway so it would be a great opportunity.

JUstin's pov;

Its great to be back with my brother again . Like old times . I told ariana that i didn't know him because she doesn't have the right to know everything about me anyway . she's not my mom.

i forgot about mom . she must be worried .

what happens if I return to this life ? me and my brother in gangs running from the cops .

Jason had been in prison multiple times where as i had never because he always covered for me . He didn't mention me to anyone , and I was glad of it . I couldn't stay in this life . not after what happened before .

But it's like a drug . addictive .Its the way I let my anger out on things and it makes me feel better . I might sound like a creepy murderer but i've never actually killed anyone . That was my brother's job . I didn't know about the killings until I dropped out of this . I dot out of this once , But now its taking me back and an extra person too . Ariana .

I never did any of this when I was friends with her . It started when we both left town and my brother came back . I was fourteen at the time and he was nineteen

my thoughts changed once someone's arm hit me . It was Ariana .

I gave her a stern look before carrying on shooting and thinking .

" you should focus on one thing at a time Justin" she said like she had read my mind . She could obviously see i was stressed. It didn't take a genius too see that. I groaned disrespectfully, basically ignoring what she just said . she let out a sigh and came closer to me and put her small fragile hand over mine , which was on the gun.

I pulled her hand off and loosened my thoughts . I gave her a forced smile and dropped the gun and walked away with her . There was a silence . Not in the room , as you could still here people training . For what ? I don't have a clue but I was pretty damn sure I would find out . The silence was between me and Ariana. As i was about to say something , ariana opened her mouth before me and broke the silence.

" I think this must be something for the government "she decided and continued " you know , like one of those project thingys and we'll be paid like $100 or something "she explained what she meant carefully ,trying not too sound stupid . I looked at her doubtfully.

" well you see , maybe my dad will like force them to pay us or something .or maybe that brother of yours" she smirked when she mentioned my brother . My brother would hurt her , she can't try anything with him.

" stay away from him . He's dangerous , ariana . " i was about to carry on but she cut me off and narrowed her eyes . She bit her cheek before she said anything .

" what . MOre dangerous than you" she added sarcastically . My Concerned expression changed into worry . I gulped .

"w-why ? what have you heard ?" i asked trying to not sound accusatory . also not trying to sound cantankerous. she rolled her eyes and laughed . she hit my Shoulder and placed her palm on her mouth .
