Ch 8

Me and clove finally lost Cato and marvel and my god does my food hurt. Thankfully it didn't go right in my foot but it still scraped it pretty deep.

"Alright lay down" Clove tells me. We made it into a cave, not the safest but I can't get in a tree. I lay down and clove takes of my shoe and pulls my pants up. "Ooo" she says with displeasure. "Is it bad?" Of course it was bad it was really hurting. Well to be fair my pain tolerance isn't super high, when I was born it was like a mini hill is what the doctor's described it.

"You'll be fine." Clove says reassuring me. I'm not to sure if I believe her but I have to trust her.

Clove gets her backpack off her back and opens it revealing bandages, she pulls them out, "this might sting a bit." She says, great. She starts to put the bandages on touching the wound. "Ow" I say. She looks at me "sorry"

Once she covered i tried to get up. "What are you doing?" "I can't stay put all day we have stuff to do" I say answering her question. "Your an idiot it's going to bleed more" "and?" "Your so stubborn" "your not any better" I say replying to her.

I grab my axe and a rock "What are you doing with that?" "Can't kill anything with a dull axe" I reply as I start sharpening my axe.

"So what's district 2 like" I ask her. "It's alright, a lot of pressure though cause your expected to win and bring honor to your family." "Oh" "what about 8?" "It's ok I guess, a lot of people get sick, but we also make a lot of fabric so no one wins cause no one knows how to fight" "Than how do you know how to fight?" She asks me "I'm not supposed to know." I stop my sentence since we are on live television. I can't have them find out I do illegal hunting.

Eventually Clove tells me to sleep and she keeps guard and than we switch places.

After a while clove wakes me up. "Oh good you woke me up I thought you were just not going to sleep" "well I'm tired so get up it's my turn"

Finally it's morning my foot still hurts but I'll deal with it.

"So there's a food source where the careers keep their food" "So we blow it up?" "Bingo"

We make it to where the food source is and watch for a while. "We need something to draw them away" I say. "Fire, I'll make a fire and you blow it up" "and if they get you?" "They wont" "fine"

Clove left me to go light a fire far from me. Eventually I see the smoke and the careers start leaving to the smoke leaving a kid behind. There's got to be a trick. Than finch starts running out doing weird jumps and steps. What is she doing?

I figured it out, they activated the plates. I just need a way to get it to explode.

Than I see district 12 Katniss everdeen. She draws a arrow and.. she's going to make it explode. I hurry to my feet trying to get away but I was to slow. BOOM I fly back hitting my head.

I wake up to someone hitting me. I open my eyes and see clove on top of me. Why can I barely hear her? I raise my hand to my ear to see it's bleeding. I start panicking. My hearing I can't hear my breathing starts to pick up "I-I can barely hear you!" I say in a panic. "It's ok it's ok slow down your breathing." I start to slow my breathing when I realize how much my body hurts.

Clove helps me get to a safe place and helps heal me up. Than I notice.... "Your hurt" I say, she has blood on her forhead and her leg is also bleeding "I'm ok, Cato got me but I'll be fine" we both rest.

When I wake up my hearing is a bit better and I can move around a lot better. My hearing is still trash but it will do. Me and clove are both cuddling each other.

"There is a feast in the cornucopia, you all need something and it will be there" Clove, clove needs something to heal her cuts. "What are you doing?" She asks. "I'm going to go get what we need" "are you crazy you'll die" I'll be fine, you need to heal" "take me with" "but-" "no buts, if you go I go." "Fine, let's eat something first" we both go hunting and build a fire and cook what we hunted.

Me and clove start going to the cornucopia. "Ok so I'll go and grab what we need and you stay in the tree line, you'll be able to see if I need help" "alright" she says replying to me
