Author's notes: It's my fanfic that I haven't updated in very long and I get to decide to have a chatfic chapter in the middle of it for absolutely no reason!!!
Ok maybe there's a reason. Maybe I played Omori and afterwards read a hilarious chatfic to deal with the pain™ of it and decided. And now I want the BMM characters to text more.
This is totally a skippable chapter if you don't like chatfics that much, totally understand! This is mostly just fun times happening, and I may or may not drop a little lore into where the plot (if you can say this fic has plot at all) is heading if you can pick up on it. Idk. Hope you enjoy nonetheless!
If I said see you soon, that'd probably be a very long-game lie because who knows when the next chapter's gonna be out. Life is like a hurricane here in Ducktales and this fic just isn't my priority right now, unfortunately.
Saw this Tumblr post that was "Besties, canon doesn't exist. Everyone is queer, everyone is neurodivergent. Go wild!" and it tagged a bunch of musicals. I'm taking it literally. Canon BMM everyone is queer and neurodivergent happy reading. I've improved since the last time I put text conversations into fics. So that's fun.
Content warning: The first conversation with only Jake and Rich references to the implied suicide attempt when Rich burned down Jake's house. The mood dampens in that sector there but everything right before and pretty much after is upbeat. Please take precaution and skip that part if you need to.
