Now that the band name is officially settled, the next thing they would do is to put it in development. They needed to come up with an original song to sing for the auditions. In the end, it was Rhea who wrote the lyrics and both herself and Ray produced music. Three days passed by. Once the production of the song is finished, the Daniels had their first run-through after Ray came home from work. It took them another three days before they finally got used to the song.

Now, it happened in the next day. The Daniels carried their own instruments to Cru Point. And on and on, they walked. Until they reached the stage nearby the Payless Shoe Store and a few other clothing such as Penshoppe, Uniqlo, etcetera.

The stage looked a little bit like a cinema, but it wasn't. There was a gray cloth covering the board ahead of the Daniels. The curtains were tied up on each side of it. The stage itself was made of glass and you can see the silver, steal posts keeping it stable.

As for the seating, the white, plastic, Monoblock chairs were placed within the fence, covered in a black wool-made blanket. Each part of the fence has the symbol of a blue, white cruise ship with smoke coming out of the chimney and light blue glass windows. You can see the translucent blue waves drawn at the bottom of the ship. At the bottom of the logo, there were two words written as "Cru Point" in navy blue color.

The front row seats stood 1 meter away from the stage with other seating rows being half a meter from the front row.

As soon as the Daniels approached the counter on the right side of the entrance to the auditorium-like area, the same female cashier spoke to them.

"Hi, Sir. Welcome to the Battle of the Bands event. Have you come up with a band name, yet?"

"Yes, I have, miss," Ray said. He turned to Rhea and held out his hand. One second later, a cue to hand him the paper planted in her head. She handed Ray the half-folded paper she was holding in her right hand. Ray unfolded the paper. The paper was revealed to be the same paper used for signing up to be part of the Battle of the Bands event. It involved the name of the band, the list of members and their roles, the purpose of the family band and the reason why they participated in the auditions. Ray had written the details in the paper.

Band Name: The D-Tribe

List of Members and their Roles (maximum of 5):

Ray Dizono Daniels (lead guitar)
Diona Pangilin Daniels (lead singer)
Rhea Denisa P. Daniels (keyboardist and songwriter)
Danny Ralpha P. Daniels (drummer boy)

Purpose of the Band: To spread good values and encourage others to become better people.

Why do you want to participate in the Battle of the Bands Competition?:

Because we are encountered with a situation with three girls who were bullying our friend. They made a deal with us. If we win, they'll let our friend go. If we lose... I don't know what happened, but we'll make sure we win the contest. Other than that, I'm happy to have a family band because it's more fun when my family and I are together.

Ray handed the paper to the cashier. "We decided to name it 'The D-Tribe.'" The cashier's hand reached for the paper and Ray's hand slipped away from it. "We came here as a family band."

The female cashier's head turned slightly from left to right, then from right to left, then so forth. As it did so, her lips stretched out an interesting smile. "Oh, a family band, I see?" Her chin moved upwards, with her head facing the Daniels. "There's hardly been like that in the auditions, which means you might be the first group to participate in the auditions as a family. Do you think you can win?"

Ralpha moved his steps forward and was now in front of Ray. His toes tipped as his left hand formed a fist and his forearm was placed on the counter. His face was plastered with determination and he has a determined smirk on his face. "We didn't think so..." His right hand made a smapping sound as his arm moved like he was writing a letter "C." "...we know so!"
