Ray had no other choice but to sign up for “the Battle of the Bands” competition. He had done the signing with his family, but they have one thing they still need to complete. Their band name. Ray had never had the time for a band name during the signing, so he told the female cashier that he would come up with a band name and state the name on Friday.

Right now, the Daniels were sitting around the table in “Seoul Korean Restaurant.” Along with a few friends of theirs. Johnnie Apoglin, Jenny Allison, Jayden Vitalobo, Nicholas Apoglin and Eli Apoglin.

This restaurant was located somewhere in Atlantic Bay. In Rhea’s perspective, she was holding her tablet with both hands. She continued to do the Sonic roleplay with the same online friend.

On her right, two seats away from her was Ralpha, who was playing Donkey Kong and Bowser toys with Johnnie and Ray. Ray was sitting beside Rhea on her right.

Ahead of Rhea were Nicholas and Jayden. They seemed to be gossiping about love life.

On her northwest side was Eli. He was using his phone to do his own business. Beside her on the left was Jenny and beside her was Diona. They seemed to have a fun conversation together.

No food has been served and no menu was present because they had already ordered the food.

After a while, the food finally arrived. Eli and Rhea had to pack away their gadgets and Ralpha had to pack away his toys. Because it’s dinner time.

Rhea was served with Pork Tonkatsu with salad as the side dish and the sauce made for the tonkatsu. Same goes with Ralpha. Other servings include omelet, kimchi, spicy ramen, a pitcher of iced tea and of course, a pitcher of cold water.

The whole gang said their prayers together before they started eating. The salads were put aside from Rhea’s and Ralpha’s dishes. Sure, they can eat tonkatsu with rice, but they were not quite fond of salad. The freestyle conversation went on and on.

During the conversation, what they’re chatting about is the name of the band suited for the Daniels.

“So, what are you going to name the band?” Johnnie asked Ray.

“I don’t really know. Back when I was in high school, I had the band with my classmates,” said Ray.

“Ah, yes. The Tribe,” Diona said.

“Exactly. And I have my own band with my brothers. It’s called ‘Kamoteng Bagong Luto’ or ‘KBL’ for short. Now, I have to come up with a new band name and I’m running out of ideas.”

Then, a few seconds later, a male, young enthusiastic voice joined in. “How about Bandzilla?” Ralpha asked his father.

Ray turned to his son as he let out a laugh. “What? That doesn’t sound good for a band name.”

“I agree with dad. We need to come up with something that represents a family band,” Rhea said.

“So, what should you name it?” Nicholas asked, his face turning to Rhea as a few Ramen noodles entered his mouth.

Rhea’s eyes blinked as they looked at her surroundings. Somehow, she noticed that all eyes were on her. “Um…” She raised her eyebrow as her right fingers pointed to herself. “…me?”

“Yes, you. You’re the one who came up with an idea of having a band name that represents a family band, so it’s you, who should come up with a name,” Nicholas answered.

“So, tell us, Rhea. What will you name your family band?” Jayden asked her.

Rhea’s right index finger was on her chin. Her elbow laid on her other hand. Her eyes were up and her eyebrows furrowed. “Hmm…”

It took a few moments before an idea popped into Rhea’s head. She turned to her dad, “Your band name in high school is called ‘The Tribe,’ right?”

“Yeah,” Ray answered. “Why?”

“Well, if this band name is called ‘The Tribe’ and our last name is Daniels, what if I combine the two together to make one unique band name?” You can’t miss the interested look in their eyes as their lips stretched out a smile. “I’d like to name it ‘The D-Tribe.’ Sounds okay?”

“I think it’s a good name,” Johnnie said.

“Yeah, me too,” Nicholas said.

“Same here,” Jenny finally spoke up.

“I would agree with Johnnie. It is a good name,” Eli finally spoke up.

“So, it’s settled then?” Diona asked, turning to Ray.

Ray’s head turned from left to right while nodding in response. “Yeah.” He turned back to Diona, still nodding. “It’s settled.”

“What do you think, Ralpha?” Rhea said, turning to Ralpha.

It took a few moments before Ralpha sighed in defeat. “Oh, alright, but I still think Bandzilla is awesome.”

Rhea let out a single chuckle, “You wish.”

With that, they all continued eating dinner, with freestyle conversation coming along the way.

After dinner was finished, Johnnie payed the bill. Then, they exited their seats, carried their own bags and headed towards the exit. But not before Jenny bought the one dessert meant for herself, Rhea, Ralpha and a few others. Ice cream.

Rhea had her chocolate ice cream sandwich with the rectangular bun being made of sponge. Ralpha had the strawberry-flavored popsicle.

The whole gang ate ice cream around the table outside Seoul Korean Restaurant. After at least ten minutes, they’re all finished.

Everyone in the group was divided into two. The first group consisted of Rhea, Diona, Jenny and Eli while the second group consisted of Ray, Nicholas, Johnnie and Jayden. The first group rode in the Wigo car while the second group drove in the Vios car. They travelled to certain homes where the grownup Daniels drop out their friends. They bid goodbyes to each other before the Daniels’ friends went home.

After all their friends were dropped out, the Daniels rode themselves home.
