July 6?!?!?! On my birthday?!?!?!

That's the single, initial thought that immediately came to Ray's mind after hearing Matthew's words.
Groans of disappointment were heard from the audience. Same goes with the Dazzles as their groans sound kind of... irritable.

As for the Daniels, it was Ralpha who turned to his dad. "That's on your birthday!"

Ray turned to Ralpha and nodded. "Yes, my son. The results will be revealed on my birthday."

With that, the Daniels and the Dazzles exited the stage. In different expressions. The Dazzles in disappointment and the Daniels in gratefulness.

The Daniels ' friends congratulated them for their amazong performance and they sure hoped they'd win. After gheir brief talk, they bid goodbyes to each other and left for home.

When the Daniels got home, they washed up, dressed up in their pajamas and did their nighttime routine. After that, they bid each other goodnight, went to their respective bedrooms and tucked themselves in bed. Lights were out all were drifted off to sleep.

In the following days, their routines were normal. Every Sunday, they went to church to worship the Lord and listen to Pastor Pete's message. The only unusual thing applied in their routine was their excitement about the results to be revealed.

Now, it happened on July 6 when the Daniels were celebrating Ray's birthday party in his parents' house in Gordon Heights. Foods like spaghetti were served. Water was served in glasses to drink.

Prayers were given to God for the food and for the life of Ray. Everyone in the party hoped that he would continue to grow as a person and guide others to become better people. As soon as the prayer ended, they started eating lunch.

Calls like Daniel LaRusso's were accepted in Rays phone, to greet the latter himself a happy birthday. Even the rest of Daniel's family and Robby greeted him a happy birthday.

In fact, it was the time where Rhea introduced Robby to the rest of her family. Even to her grandparents and great-grandmother. Not only that, but she conversed with Robby online, leading them to be best sibling friends forever. One time, she asked him to text each other to get to know even more of each other. Robby chuckled and nodded in agreement.

Ray saw how Rhea and Robby's conversation went. A warm, genuine smile appeared on his face as tears of joy filled her eyes.

Soon after, the LaRussos, Robby and the Daniels bid each other goodbyes before the call ended. Then, a few seconds later, a beep was heard. At the top of Ray's phone screen was a notification. And it came from Facebook.

Ray tapped the notification.

The first thing he saw was what made his eyes widened and his jaw dropped in shock. He then, turned to the others.

"Guys, you have to see this!" he said happily.

Everyone gathered around to see what Ray ws going to show them. Right on the screen was a Facebook post. And he was tagged by Matthew Hensford. There was an image with colors of hot pink, white, chartreuse and light blue. The popped symbol was pink and words were printed in yellow. Rainbow confetti was scattered everywhere around those words.

It was read as, "Congratulations, D-Tribe! You won the Battle of the Bands Competition!"
