Eddie had a horrible headache as they walked back to their cars, but didn't mention it. He felt kind of sick, but not from being up in the air. Not because he knew he almost just died. Because he saw her. And she was... different. She was horrible. He hated it. He stopped and quickly picked up his bag as they walked back past the table. "...can I ride with you?" Steve asked, looking over at Eddie. "Uh- sure man. That's fine." Eddie said, not looking up from the ground. They hopped in his van, and started to drive back to the wheelers, on Nancy's demand. Eddie could see Steve's car through his mirror, being drove by Nancy. Steve looked down as he spoke. "Ah... what did you see?" Eddie looked away, and thought back to last week. "I Uh... Chrissy.. she was... different?" He stuttered, keeping his eyes on the road. "You... you liked her, didn't you?" Steve asked, and a barely noticeable smile spread on Eddie's lips. "You could say it was more than 'like'." Steve looked over at him, in understanding. The girl he loved may not be dead, but she isn't his anymore, and it hurts. "I get it. Y'know... er- Nancy." He said, rubbing his neck. "Thanks for helping me out back there. I might've been gone if it wasn't for y'all. How'd you know my favorite song?" He smiled at him, trying to lighten the mood. "Well... you kinda talk about it all the time- and played it to Luer the bats- then played it for 3 days straight after that..." Steve said, chuckling. "Oh. Yea. Right." Eddie replied.

With Chrissy...

"I need to go outside..." she thought, approaching the door. But... the bats. Bats? Monsters? Bat monsters? She didn't know. She remembered seeing a tarp in the back. That could help! She ran back and grabbed the big black tarp. She grabbed her white cheerleaders jacket off the end of the bed, tying it around her waist. She walked out, taking shaky breaths. She had grabbed a baseball bat, and was dragging it along the ground beside her. She had a lantern in her other hand, with the tarp hung over her head. "they shouldn't find me im here..." she muttered, as she approached the forest. She threw the tarp off, and started to speed walk through the forest. It was strange and... In a way, to her, incredibly pretty. The blue light, she almost forgot there were deadly monsters all around her. Until she though about not thunking of them. She looked around, and started to run. A growl came from somewhere around her. She yelped, and started to sprint. She started to cry. "Oh god.. Oh no- no- n-no..no..no!" she cried as she ran. She trapped over a vine, and her breath hitched. She looked around as she got up, hearing a rustle in the leafs. She whimpered and began to speed walk again, continuing to look around. And then she heard a voice. "You could say it was more then like." and she stopped. It was Eddie. "EDDIE!!" she screamed. "EDDIE! EDDIE!!!" She screamed, looking around. She started running again, continuing to call his name. No answer. "Eddie?..." she asked weakly, as she excited the woods. She had passed the table, and his box was there, covered in spiders. She cringed at it then kept walking. She was in down town Hawkins. She then realized how tired she was
and fell to her knees. She looked up, and her eyes widened. Four, long, wide, glowing red opening in the earth glowed against her skin. She stood up, breathing heavy, and started walking towards it. "What the hell?" She muttered as she got closer. She walked up to it, and took a breath. The glow... she had seen it before. "It may find me a way out... anything's better than this hell." She thought, before she jumped in. And she was in the same place. But the air was clearer. And the sky was brighter. And she felt better. "Yes! Yes!" She cried, falling to the ground. She cried. But not like she had been doing for the past 3 weeks. Happiness washed over her. She looked up the hill, and ran.
