The Life of an International Star

Tsukasa's POV:
As soon as I got home I collapsed in the sofa. The interview was sure tiring. They seemed to have a lot of questions... I yawn. Ah... that took a lot out of me. Just the result of being a world star. I should probably take a nap... As soon as my eyes start fluttering and I soon start drifting into slumber I hear a loud buzzing. It's my phone. I didn't even need to look at the contact to know who it was. She always picks the wrong time but, I could never be made at Saki. I pick up the phone.

"Hey Brother!" "Hi Saki! How are you?" I ask.
"I'm great! I saw your interview. Your probably worn out though-" "What nonsense a star like me always has time for his favorite sister!" "You act like you have any other sister." Saki laughs "You act as if that would change my mind!" The two begin to laugh. It's been awhile since we've talked to each other, it took my off guard how fast we cracked jokes with one another. We act like we still live under the same roof.

Just like the old times...
As the twos laughter begins to die down Tsukasa strikes up a question. "So Saki, how are you?" "Greets Great! Actually I'm wonderful! You did spectacular during the interview!" "I know I was absolutely amazing at dazzling!" I victoriously smirk on the couch. "Everyone's going to be pumped for the movie all thanks to me!" "Yeah! I know me and and Ichika and the rest of Leo/need are going to watch it as soon as it comes out!" The mentions of Saki's partner, Ichika, Honami, and... well maybe not Shiho. But, it felt great to know there were others that supported me! Even if their a teensy bit biased... or were forced to watch it.. or slightly both... But hey! That didn't really matter, right?

"I'd expect nothing more from my four biggest fans!" Before he paused he asked. "So how's Leo/need doing?" Sakis tone becomes more excited "It's going fantastic! Honami baked us a bunch of sweets for us for the anniversary! Ahhhh...! They were so good!" To be honestly... I was slightly jealous at the mention of her and her friends. She complimented constantly but it never failed to make me slightly jealous. "Ah... I'm rambling aren't I?" "No, No! It's okay Saki really!" "Eehhh..." "Wait... I DIDN'T TELL YOU!" "Tell me what?" "SO... Leo/need is going on a tour soon!" "Wait what? When is it happening?!" "In few days!" Saki response with a preppy voice. "Wait a few days?! But, don't tours take like.. forever to plan?" "Ahh yes... we planned it quite a bit ago but I guess because of how busy our schedules were I never got to tell you." "I see..." Those words felt like someone stabbed him he hasn't been able to keep in contact with Saki often. He hasn't been able to hear about how she's doing nor about anything her friends. Not even about this big opportunity! Their first tour! How could I not feel bad for not hearing on it sooner...?

I honestly can't tell you what she said after that. "Yeah.. yeah!" I try and bring back my positive tone hiding my shame. "That'll be nice..! Are you coming to Tokyo?" "Mmh!" Saki responded in her upbeat attitude. "Of course I am! On the 10th of February!" I pull up my calendar and check. I curse under my breath "Well... I won't be able to go... my schedule is packed..." "I see..." Saki's upbeat tone fades slightly. "..Well that's fine! There are plenty of other dates when are you free?" "Let me check." I scroll on my calendar. "Im actually free this weekend!" I exclaim as I stare at Saturday on my calendar. I do have a photo shoot on Sunday but... it's worth it! I was snapped back by Saki's loud squeal. "I remember you taking about coming back home for awhile!"

Right... my hometown.
"Ahhhhhh!!!! That'll be so much fun! Me and my fiends were going to hang out at Phoenix Wonderland!"
Phoenix Wonderland? I haven't heard that name in years..
"That place is still running?" "Mmh! Me and the girls were going to buy tickets and hang out there you can come if you'd like!"
I think to myself, I have to think and consider my options. Sure it'd seem fun to be carefree and hang out at the amusement park and ride some attractions! I've always had a soft spot for that park. Also, mean it's been awhile since I've had a break from photo shoots and interviews. I can also hang out with Saki it's been to long!
..But there's a risk in running into them.

"Brother?" I jump at Saki's voice not realizing how silent I've gotten. "Wha!?" "Do you wanna hang out with us..?" "Of course..!" I try speaking with my overly confident tone. "PERFECT! We're going to have so much fun! Ahhhhh!!! I can't wait!"
Her enthusiasm can be REALLY contagious at times, I find myself grinning with delight. If Saki was so overly excited about this whole Phoenix Wonderland hang out I made this right choice!
I'd be foolish to say no to Saki either way! I mean, what are the chances I'll run into them either way! It's been years they probably don't even live there anymore!

Hell they may not even remember me!
...Gahhhhhh who I'm I kidding?! Of course they remember me! My smile begins to falter.
Just probably not for the reasons I want.

I book a flight later that night with a sense of melancholy, the silence finally began to gnaw at me.
