Mianite's Plan

~Jordan's POV~

Martha's eyes harden, and she turns to me hastily.

"She's in the tower. We need to attack." She hisses. I nod to her, and we fly up to the balcony. Wag was holding her in his arms, both of them crying. My blood boils, and I can barely contain my rage.

"You!" Martha yells. Carter jumps in surprise and Wag tries to move to protect her, but Martha freezes him in place.

"You will pay for killing my mother!" Martha screeches and launches herself at Carter. I attack with her and we quickly take Carter down. Martha doesn't even glance at Wag as we fly off. We arrive at the old Enderman Museum and toss her in, using iron doors to lock her in. That's when I realize she got her wings back.

"So Mianite gave you back your wings. How long have you been working for him" I slit at her. She glares at the wall across from her, refusing to speak. Martha puts her hand on my shoulder.

"Leave it." She tells me. I nod and walk away. Martha comes with me to my tower. We wouldn't rest until Ianite was alive and Mianite was gone.

~Carter's POV~

I listen to their footsteps as they saunter away. How dare they lock me up like an animal. Looking out the iron bars that marked my door, I could see Wag's tower in the distance. Tears stream down my cheeks. Wag...I'm sorry...

~Wag's POV~

Finally, I can move again. I jump off the balcony and fly to find where they took her. Mianite is forcing her to do this....she had to choose between me or betraying everyone...and she picked....me. Sighing, I land by the golem house. I needed to find her...

~Carter's POV~

I can see Wag. I desperately want to call out to him...but Mianite gave me my orders. I'm to remain in the prison and convince Tucker and Sonja to follow him. My mission is to convince them that Mianite can change to be good, but I'll need their help. I wasn't lying to Wag, but I'm not supposed to talk to him. Mianite would understand why I went to him at the tower, so that Martha and Sparklez could capture me.

A shimmering appears on the obsidian wall. I stand up and approach, then bow.

"Yes my lord?" I ask as I stand up from the bow.

"You did well getting here. Now next time those dumb followers of Ianite come by, get them to let you apologize to Tucker and Sonja. You know what to do. Soon you can be a goddess, with unlimited power. I'll even let townspeople worship you as well as me." Mianite's voice orders from the shimmering.

"Yes my lord." I reply and bow once again as the light fades. I go back and sit against the wall. Hopefully soon, I could take Tucker and Sonja to Mianite and be free.

~Tucker's POV~

"What do you want Jordan? I'm trying to upgrade my blood magic altar." I growl. I hear him sigh.

"The betrayer has requested to speak to you and Sonja." He answers. I follow him to where they were holding Carter captive. I understand why they are doing it, but I don't agree with it. She was forced to do what she did.

"I've brought Tucker. Martha should be on the way with Sonja." Jordan hisses to her as Martha and Sonja walk over. Jordan and Martha give Carter death glares, then walk off.

"Tucker, Sonja, I'm glad you're here. I'm on your side. I only killed Ianite to make Mianite believe he could trust me. I'm trying to change him...to make him good...but I need your help. Please, come back with me and we can change Mianite into a caring God, like he is in your world." She looks at me with pleading eyes. Sonja takes my hand.

"I think we should go with her Tucker. This could be the chance to turn Mianite good and bring back Dianite and Ianite, and to help Martha become a goddess." My girlfriend looks up at me. I nod in agreement.

"Alright Carter, we will go with you. But....how are you going to get out?" I ask her. She smiles.

"Stand back." She tells us. Carter raises her arm at the door, and shoots a spell at it. The door disintegrates, and she walks out, her wings stretching out.

"Your wings...." I breathe. She nods. Suddenly shouting is heard.

"Well that's our cue. Let's get out of here. Take my hand!" She shouts. Sonja and I grab on and were teleported to a huge, extravagant castle.

"Welcome to Mianite's castle." Carter smiles at us. Suddenly, a figure is at the top of the giant staircase.

"Tucker...Sonja....my loyal followers from another world." A voice reaches us.

"Mianite..." Sonja's eyes widen. Carter nudges my side.

"Bow." She mutters as she bows. Sonja and I follow suit.

"Carter, I trust you can take them to their rooms." Mianite addresses her and then vanishes. We raise from the bows and Carter leads us up into the castle. We are taken to a hall way with four rooms. They were already marked.

"The loyal." Carter's voice snaps me back to the present.

"Tucker that's yours. Sonja, yours is next door. The Loving." Carter smiles at us.

"What title does yours have?" I ask as Carter turns to exit the hallway. Her smile fades and a look of sadness crosses her features.

"The lonely...." She whispers and then leaves. Sonja looks at me.

"Poor thing...." She murmurs. I kiss Sonja's forehead and we enter our rooms. They had almost everything we needed....from thaumcraft to blood magic...

~Jordan's POV~

"How could she have broken out! I saw as the door was vaporized, and I couldn't believe it. I shouted for Martha, and then Tucker and Sonja grabbed her then disappeared!" I exclaim to Tom and Steve.

"This just shows that she is more powerful than we thought....maybe she wanted to be caught...." Tom offers. I pace back and forth. Mianite stole the girl I was falling for, and she killed Ianite. Carter will regret ever returning to the town. Martha has decided to lock up Wag so that if Carter returns, she won't have him to protect her. Martha has even exiled Wag from being her follower when she becomes a goddess. Soon, Mianite would be just a memory.

~Wag's POV~

Martha took my spell book, and all my items from me. I'm trapped in an obsidian box, with no way to know where I am. I miss Carter terribly...suddenly a glow appears in front of me.

"Hello wizard. I have someone you care about. I'm sure you've learned that she chose to kill my sister so that I wouldn't take your life. Well, I'll make you a deal. Kill Martha the Mystic....and I'll let Carter go home." Mianite chuckles. Kill Martha....I shake my head.

"I won't do it." I answer. A girl's scream comes from the light.
"Carter!" I shout.

"She will learn that you let her be tortured rather than saving her. Good luck, wizard." Mianite laughs and the glowing stops.
