(Hana pov)
"Hana? Hana?" my manager waved her hands in front of my face. "Oh, sorry. I spaced out for a bit." I apologized. "I was saying, you can take a month off. You need a break from work too."
A break... What am I gonna do anyways? I thought about what I could do, long and hard. Then a flier, blown away by the wind, fell in front of me. Without thinking, I picked it up, "Seventeen" I read out loud. It's been a while since I've heard of the name Seventeen but that doesn't mean it hasn't been on my mind.
Is it time? Maybe it's time for me to do something impulsive.

As I stepped foot off the airplane, even the air felt different. I'm finally back. I haven't told anyone about my plans to come back here. It was only yesterday that I decided to come back here, too.
What should I do now... Right when I walked out of the airport, I saw an advertisement board for SEVENTEEN's concert. As much as I hesitated, I still decided to go to their concert.
I sat among the audience and eagerly waited for them to come on stage. How long has it been since I've felt so excited? One by one, the members all came on stage. They all look a bit different from a few years ago.
I've never lost contact with the guys even after I came back to China. It's only Jun that I avoided. But now seeing him on stage again, I felt something burning inside me. The wish to reconnect.
"There is a special song I want to sing to someone." Jun spoke from the stage. Special someone? What am I even thinking? Of course he's already moved on. Just what am I getting worked up for?
"We originally composed this song together but we weren't able to finish it. So I decided to finish the rest of the lyrics and sing it on stage for the first time. Even though I don't know where she is right now, I hope this song will somehow reach her."
Silent Boarding Gate
The dark clouds silently fade out
The love I didn't say then
You're the departure, I'm the futureAfter a few years of 'bad'
My heart suddenly felt better
You're not hereAt the silent boarding gate
I saw the clouds flying away, the half orange half grey sky
Wanting to fly towards the next me
Shivering in the cold, I tighten my collar, unable to land
Our timelines not keeping in touchAt the boarding gate
I don't know where to go, I'm the one who can't let go
There's a path but I don't have the heart to take it
How long does it take for someone to say "I'm better now"Guess how it turns out afterwards
The loneliness ignited the long-awaited disaster
I reap what I sowAt the silent boarding gate
I saw the clouds not moving, half conscious I surrendered
The one waiting to board wasn't me after all
Tears in my heart, I know that even after I land
Our timelines are in parallelAt the boarding gate
I don't know where to go, I'm the one who can't let go
There's a path but I don't have the heart to take it
How long does it take for someone to say "I'm better now"I'm not sure when. Maybe from the moment he sang the first verse, tears flowed out of me, nonstop. Even if I was reborn in another life, I can never forget this song. Why must he sing this song when I've finally moved on?
Moved on? No, even after so many years passed, I still love him. Despite how I thought I've moved on, how I thought I've fallen out of love, it was all lies. Nothing can change the fact that I love him in the end. Despite how we both tried to forget and move on, the memories we had together still remained in our hearts.
The song was over, and the concert ended. But I stayed in my seats, not moving an inch. I was lost in my thoughts.
*Ring, ring, ring*
I finally regained my consciousness because of the sound of my phone. I looked at my phone screen, "A call from Minghao?" I read out loud. Without thinking, I automatically picked up my phone.
"Minghao?" I called his name. "HANA! You came back to korea?! I saw you among the audience today!" He shouted so loud, I held my phone further from my ears. "Yeah, you really have a sharp eye!"
"Yeah, of course. Why didn't you tell us you came back?" He asked. "I didn't have time, I only decided to come back yesterday." I answered. "Oh.. sounds like something you would do hahaha anyways, are you going to see Jun?" I thought for a second. I came back without much thinking, I didn't think about if I wanted to see Jun or not.
I mean, of course, I want to see him. But I'm not sure if I have enough courage to see him again. "I don't know.." I replied. "Oh really? We should meet up and chat though! Let's meet at a cafe for a bit." He suggested. "Oh ok, just don't Jun I came back, though." I persisted to not let Jun know. "Yeah, yeah. See you~" Then we hung up the phone and I headed to the cafe.
I arrived at the cafe earlier which made sense cause he probably still has a few things to do before he can come here. I took out a marker I randomly found in my bag and started doodling on my hands, as I don't have any papers. When I regained my consciousness, I found myself drawing the same crescent moon and three stars on my hand.
Just then, the cafe door opened. I looked up, searching for the sight of Minghao but only saw someone unexpected. The man rushed up to my table, "Hana..." That's when I found out I've been lied to. Minghao never intended to show up, he purposely sent Jun here.
"Jun..." And before I could speak more, Jun ran up to me and kissed me out of the blue but I didn't pull away. Like I said, the story of us never ends.
The story is officially over! I didn't write this story very well, there was a lot other things I wanted to convey but never did. I want to write more stories with more touching words! Please look forward to it if it does come :)
