第五章 chapter five

A few months later, the agency decided to have the group members move to a different dorm. Under their agency's instruction, the boys all packed their things to move to a new dorm. Although the new dorm isn't too far away from the current dorm, it'll surely make it harder for the two to meet.

"Are you sure you'll be okay living in such a huge dorm alone?" Mingyu asked. "I'll be so happy living in this place all by myself." Hana answered, which was an obvious lie. "Yeah, whatever," Mingyu replied.

She watched as they moved boxes and boxes of things out of the dorm. This is the end of the memories they made together inside this dorm. "Bye, noona.." Vernon waved at her. "You're sounding like we're never seeing each other again!" Hana said, "We'll still see each other at the company!"

"That's true." Jeonghan said. "Don't miss us too much~" Wonwoo taunted. "Yeah, I won't." Hana fake smiled at them and waved goodbye. Before she closed the doors, she looked at Jun once more. She could tell he was also saddened but she couldn't bring herself to say anything to him.

    "Byebye~" she said one last time to the other guys and closed the door. She turned around to see the empty dorm. It's the emptiest she's ever seen. It didn't smell anymore. She walked into each room and reminisced their memories in each room.

She walked into Seungcheol's room which no longer smells like febreze. She walked into Dk's room which is no longer messy. It's the end of the beginning.

A few more months later

It wasn't only Hana's prediction that came true, Jun's prediction also did. This morning, after a meeting with the company staff, they announced that she will also be debuting as a soloist.

SEVENTEEN has already debuted for around one year by now and she has been a trainee for quite some time too. Now it's finally her turn to reach for her dream. After the meeting, the first thing she thought of was seeing Jun. She reached for her phone and dialed his number. The phone rang until Jun picked up the phone.

"Jun?" she called out. "Hana? What is it?" Jun asked. "There's something I wanna tell you in person. Where are you?" Hana asked. "I'm in the middle of filming but I'll be back in the company this afternoon." Jun replied. "Oh, ok. Let's meet up when you get back then!" And they ended the phone call.

When Jun debuted, Hana was the first person he told the news to so Hana wanted to do the same for him. She spent a few hours waiting in the resting room until Jun came looking for her.

"Oh, Hana! What is it you wanted to tell me?" Jun tried to sound cool but in secret, he was dying to find out what it is that she wanted to tell him in person. "Guess what?" She asked. "I... am... debuting!!!" She revealed the news. Hearing those words, Jun immediately hugged her so tightly she could barely breathe.

    "Seriously? Oh my god, I'm so happy for you!" When he said those words, he genuinely meant it. He then proceeded to pull her into a kiss right on the spot. They're lucky no one was there at the time. Otherwise, it'd turn out awkward.

    "You're debuting as a soloist, right?" He speculated. "Yeah! I'm not sure how it'll turn out but I'm glad I'm finally debuting!" She smiled widely. "Am I the first one you told?" Jun guessed. "No, I told a few other people already." She lied to see his obvious disappointed reaction. "Just kidding! Of course I told you first!" She reassures him and he pulls her into a hug again.

    "Seriously, I'm so happy for you," He smiled at her. "Are the other guys also here?" she asked him. "Yeah, let's go tell them! I bet they'd be super surprised!" Jun grinned widely while the both ran to another room where all the other Seventeen members were at.

    "Oh, Hana?" Dino said. "Hello~ I have super big news!" Hana couldn't hold back her excitement. "What is it?" Hoshi also couldn't hold back his curiosity. "I'm finally debuting!" She announced. They were surprised but they already knew she was gonna debut sometime soon anyway. They all congratulated her, of course.

    "Oooh, S.Coups is treating tonight!" Dk shouted. "Hey, I never said that!" S.Coups argued. "Oooh, everyone, thank S.Coups for tonight's dinner!" Jeonghan led on. The other guys also cheered on making it hard for him to refuse. "Okay, fine. I'll treat since our dear Hana is debuting!" He shouted. "Ew, so cheesy." Hana jokes.

    Dinner with thirteen guys basically equals chaos. And all there is to say is, rest in peace, Seungcheol's wallet. You will be remembered.

    After dinner was over, all the guys went back to their dorm. But Jun insisted on taking Hana back home. The two took a taxi and arrived back at Jun's old dorm which is now Hana's dorm.

    "Eh? It still looks the same as before!" Jun said as he walked inside the dorm. "What do you mean? It's so much cleaner than before!" Hana objected. Jun wandered around the dorm, checking out some of the empty rooms. "Yeah, it's still the same! The structure of this dorm." Jun said, making Hana shake her head in disbelief, "Yeah, what are you even talking about?"

    Lastly, Jun walked into Hana's room. It was well decorated. He sat down on the bed and so did Hana. "You look like you have something to say. What is it?" Hana guessed. "It's nothing. I just still can't believe you're finally debuting. We'll stand on the same stage one day for sure now!" Jun exclaimed. "Yeah, I still can't really process it either. I'll also work hard!"

    Suddenly, out of nowhere, Jun leaned in and kissed Hana again. Although she was surprised, she didn't break off the kiss.

    "You're so impulsive!" Hana said. "No, that wasn't on impulse. I've been wanting to kiss you again all day but we were with the members so I couldn't kiss you in front of them." Jun whined, making Hana laugh at his cuteness.

    "Let's not only kiss then."
