"this lady is very popular in the industry of country music, with her new single 'last name' coming out and her hit album 'heartbeat', miley mae light" theo introduced me "how are you doin?"
i smiled at him, moving the mic towards me "i'm great, how bout you?"
"i'm good, got on late last night from my tour" he informed me
"that's nice, you have fun?" i asked him and he nodded
"enough about me" he laughed "your from texas, tell me about that and when you knew you wanted to be a country singer"
"yeah so i'm from conroe texas, i graduated high school in 2010 and i moved to nashville to actually get started on writing my own music." i paused "i had a lot of influence of becoming a singer"
"yeah? by who?" he asked me
"my best friends brother was involved with music and i had some cousins up her in nashville that sang at the time" i tell him
"is this friend parker mccollum?" he eyed me making me laugh
i nodded and said "the one and only" i smirked "i've known parker since i was a little baby, we grew up together then when we graduated we went different ways and now we reconnected i guess"
"and y'all just recorded a song together right?" he said making me nod "what was it like seeing him again"
"haha" i laughed "actually in july we saw each other at a bar and i just completely ignored because i was still upset at him for leaving me for like 10 years but we decided to put that behind us"
"y'all think y'all are gonna date?" he questioned me
"oh god, i have no clue" i laughed, i'm completely clueless
"so did you come to nashville just to sing?" he asked me
i shook my head and said "i moved to nashville and stayed with my cousins before doing anything with music, then i moved to oklahoma and went to oklahoma state for awhile, then dropped out moved back to texas then started my music there then went to nashville again and around 2018 is when i started dropping music"
"what's your favorite song out of yours?" he wondered
i shrugged "i have this song coming out in my next album called 'hole in a bottle' and it's gonna get a little bit of love. and carrie underwood asked me to do a remake of 'before he cheats' so im gonna have a cover of that too"
"sounds exciting" i nodded at his words
