it was finally christmas morning and i woke up to my dog, and i guess parker's too. his name is tucker
"hi tucker" he wagged his tail at the end of our bed , i sighed laying my head back down on parkers chest "you awake?"
his chest moved up and down "yeah, what time is it?" he asked me
i leaned my body over him and grabbed one of our phones "it's 8:30" i tell him
he groaned and pulled me back on top of him "and what time are we going to open presents?"
"probably around 10" i shrugged while speaking "but we should probably get up and get food and coffee for everyone"
he groaned once again and complained that it was to early
"it'll be nice, cmon" i got up out of bed and pulled him with me "get like donuts and Kolache's or something?"
"sounds good" he said while stretching. i picked up his shirt off the ground and threw it at his bare chest, and yes he had joggers on "thank you"
"mhm" i hummed, heading to my closet to get one of parker's hoodies "let's go" i grabbed the keys off the table in the room and passed them to parker
once we got into his truck and he started driving we started to make small conversation
"i can't believe we're leaving each other of a couple of weeks tomorrow" i sadly exclaimed and he one hand gripped the steering wheel and the other hand held my own hand
"i know right. i'm gonna miss you" he tell me "but we'll have fun and your going with hardy right?" he asked me
i nodded and said "yup and the first place we're actually playing is in nashville on new year's eve" i tell him "so im gonna be the one to actually start moving into our new house"
"i wish i could be there with you" he pouted making me giggle
"you'll be fine" i said "just don't miss me to much"
"i'll try not to" he looked at me and smirked "so what'd you get me for christmas"
i scoffed and said "this lake house were living in" i joked and he laughed at me "i'm not just gonna tell you, idiot"
"fine" he pulled up to the donut shop drive thru "what are we getting?" he questioned making me shrug
