when my band started to play our music, i instantly started to feel a bit nervous. this is my actual first concert since corona.
i ran on stage, immediately smiling when everyone cheered for me, they cheered even louder when i started to sing
"I've seen pick up lines and dive bar strangers slow dance, I've seen happy hour two-for-ones turn to one night, stands, I've seen neon rebounds, And late night drunk dials" i sang into the mic and moved my way up to the stage, bending down touching my hands to my fans
"'ve seen that Cinderella fairytale go up in cigarette smoke, I've seen two hearts bet it all and still end up broke,The real thing won't be easy, Yeah, it might take a while"
i stood up "But I want that all in, fallin' Keep the fire burning like the first time feeling, No matter what if I'm gonna love, I'm gonna love somebody like that, Kinda heart, open arms, Says forever and will never ever take it back, If I'm gonna love,I'm gonna love somebody like that"
once i finished the song i smiled at the crowd, "how's it goin nashville!" i asked them causing all of them to yell and scream, witch made me only smile even bigger "i just wanna say thank you"
they cheered
"thank you for comin and spendin you new year's with me, it an honor" i said truthfully "it's also an honor for someone as great as hardy to be on tour with me for a couple of weeks" they clapped for hardy
"this is my new song 'last name"" i tell them
as soon as the beat started playing, the lights flickered with the beat, along with my legs, you know kicking my legs up in the air with the beat.
god this feels absolutely amazing, i thought

the whole crowd sang with me as a sung "And I don't even know his last name, Oh, my momma would be so ashamed, It started off "hey cutie, where you from?",Then it turned into "oh no! What have I done?",And I don't even know his last name, woooo"
i walked up and took a phone from one of my fans, it was already recording when i sang to it "We left, the club, right around three o'clock in the morning, His Pinto, is sitting there in the parking lot, Well it should of been a warning, I had no clue, what I was getting into , So I blame it on the Cuervo, Oh, where did my manners go"
i handed the phone back and i finished the song
"this is absolutely crazy!"i exclaimed "y'all sound amazing holy shit" i let out a laugh
sooner than later it was already 30 seconds away from the new year, and i was on stage with a beer in one hand and in the other was my phone
i was on facetime with parker and the whole crowd was shocked with i told them that, same with parker's crowd since he was also on stage
"ready?" i asked everyone and they cheered
"5"

"3"
i looked at parker on the phone, seeing he was already looking at me

i smiled at him
"1!"
as soon as 12:00 hit there we're fireworks in the dark sky
"happy new year's!" i yelled out with a smile "i love you babe, wish you were here" i told him
