a couple weeks after the interview with theo von, i went back home to conroe texas
"hey kam" i greeted her when i walked through our childhood home. she was making something for dinner "whatcha cooking?"
"just a melted cheese" she smiled at me "parker the on his way yet?"
"yeah i think he's like 30 minutes away" i tell her "your not surprised that we're hanging out again?"
"nope" she told me "i always thought you two were meant to be"
i blushed and turned away from her "wanna go on the boat today?" i asked her, i don't wanna just stay inside all day
"yeah sure! i'll text kaylee" she exclaimed

"hey parker!" i basically jumped onto him when i opened the door
he let out a laugh and sat me down "woah" he looked around "this place looks the exact same" he said making me nod
"i know right, i love it" i said, leaning my back into him and i felt him kiss the top of my head "we're going on the boat today, so go get in your swim trunks"
"wait!" i heard kam yell before he went to go and change "hey parker!"
"oh my, kammy! is that you?" parker gave the girl a hug making me smile at the sight "your all grown up, you in college wow"
"i know right, and you got cuter" she told him
i laughed and grabbed parker's hand pulling him up the stairs with me
i pushed him into my old bedroom and said "change"

"hey kay can you hand me a coors" i asked her from across the boat and when she handed me it i thanked her
i leaned my body into parker's when he threw his shoulder around mine
i looked up at him slightly "guess what"
"what?" he questioned
i took a deep breath "i'm selling my house in nashville and moving back here"
his face went blank but soon was recovered with a smile "really? that's great" he told me
"yeah i'm thinking about getting an apartment in nashville but i'm not su-"
he cut me off "don't" i looked at him with a confused look "i mean like, shouldn't you wait for awhile"
"yeah i guess" i laid my head on his shoulder "but it's like i'm moving back to texas and your leaving"
"miley mae" i looked up at him "i was gonna do this later or tomorrow but i can't wait, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked me
i squealed and nodded, kissing his lips quickly and quietly "yes yes yes"
he laughed at me and said "thank god"
