Chapter 4: The Government's Agenda

As time passes on, the city is becoming louder and louder as the recent acts progress and it seems almost the entire population of Hamilton City is now fully aware to the anomaly existing around them, considering that the protest has grown into a huge conflict and it makes a grand scene in every television screen of every household in every nation of UFN, including the whole world, thanks to the media who is covering it all, and of course, to the protestants, who did their job of showing to the citizens of Hamilton, UFN, and the whole world, the truth about the people that they are against to, and that is the government of the Union, who has given the order on taking all of the said exiles away from the normal society.

All of these brave people protest their rights for the sake of their beloved ones to the government this entire time, and it seems that their voice is enough for the government to hear their words, since they are right in front of the city hall of Hamilton, and also, with the help of the media, they easily link themselves to almost every person in the world, not to mention that the most powerful man of all, the president of the Union, has set foot onto this place, henceforth, everyone in the city hall is now witnessing every single detail of what is happening outside of their vicinity.

And so, as the crowd keeps on being wild and mighty, within this establishment, there is one man who has set his eyes to all these events from outside this entire time as well, and above all the people who are employees or members of this place, who also have laid their eyes onto this situation, he is the only one who is mostly concerned and worried, and this is the mayor of Hamilton City, Mayor Wilfred Sawyer.

At this point, he is watching all of the people behind the blinds of his window with his twitchy eyes, which can signify his worry and fear to the things happening before him, as if that he is hiding himself from a ferocious foe, even though that he has the power to control them with his current position and being a part of the highest rank of the society, which is obvious through his decent clothing and appearance. Like his decently looking blue long-sleeved coat with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath, maroon necktie, blue pants, and brown shoes. And apart from his clothing, he looks a well respected man due to his elderly-looking face and swept-back hairstyle, and it fully disregards his chubby figure.

But even with that kind of power, position, and decency, still, his fear conquers. And it is more evident that he is truly scared at the moment because he is producing a lot of cold sweat flowing through his entire skin and his whole body quivers like it will give away. He is truly terrified at the moment and he does not know what to do next for him to surpass this ordeal. So he began to question himself about what must be done to all of this.

"They're everywhere. They've surrounded the whole area. And I didn't expect them this many! And mad! And to top it all of, the president of the Union is here too! God! I don't know what to do right now..."

((Creek!))

Then suddenly, the mayor hears his doors opening without further notice, in which it results him to jump and startle from surprise. So by instincts, he immediately sets his eyes to the doors and waits at his place to see who is entering in his quarters.

"Ah! Mayor Wilfred Sawyer! What a pleasant surprise! What? Surprise to see me?"

It is the renowned president of the country, President Lionel Cunningham, and surprisingly, it seems that he is happy to see the mayor, in spite of the tension and trouble he has been through outside, and on top of that, he looks so well prepared for this moment too, because of how he represents himself unto the mayor, for how he dressed and how he looks. However, he is dressed mostly close as the mayor, but it differs to his choice of colors, like his coat and pants are maroon, and his tie and shoes are black, and only his long-sleeved-collared shirt has the same color as his. And other than his clothes, his physical features stand out also, even though he is in his sixties and the color of his hair is gray now, he still has this charisma within him, through his nice elderly-looking face, brown eyes, swept-back hairstyle, beard, and his nice build of body.
