Chapter 2: Long Awaited Task

After the time when Piero part ways from Lisa, he now rushes to the hallways like an athlete runner trying to reach the finish line, and each person he passes by seems so surprised at him as he dashes through one of them. With him making this scene, it urges everybody to look at him and wonder what is he catching up for. But they are not entirely alarmed to this act of his, since this is his usual habit that everybody knows he would do when something urgent is there to be made or to be accomplished by him.

They are well accustomed to this habit of his quite a lot and this is not new to them anymore, so they let him do whatever he wants to do, but they warn him about his safety from time-to-time if they have the indulgence to say so. To give respect to them, Piero acknowledges all of their warnings and applies all of it immediately for his own good, showing importance to their advices, hence, he is very easy to talked to. Though he is silent in nature, but that silence is giving a chance for them to talk to him and accommodate every one of them without being judged. So it appears that Piero is a very special and a very kind man towards the people he has acquainted with throughout his days of staying here in this place and they surely welcome his well being like everybody else.

So he meets these people along the way and runs through several hallways and stairs until he arrives to his destination just in time. He is now in front of a clear glass door which is surrounded by a bright white wall, just like the rest of the walls of the establishment. But behind that door, a dark room shows up in his eyes with a silhouette of a man standing under a bright light, just right beside a long table, and nobody else is inside that room except that man alone. With that, he seems intimated to enter the room at first, but with the urgent call he has heard from the speaker before, he has no other choice but to enter the room anyways. As he proceeds, the glass door slides to the left and it makes a way for him to enter. Upon entering, the view of the room clearly shows up before him, like the beige-colored walls, several brown chairs which are appropriately lined up in one long center table, a large monitor on the center wall, and the man who has called him.

The man seems so decent and proper as observed from head to toe because of how he stands and how he is dressed. His simple long dark blue coat stands out on him because not only it mostly covers his whole body, but also it has this simplicity that depicts his modesty. Apart from that, there is an embroidery of a white phoenix on the right chest side with its wings spread out widely, and a collection of letters that says ROBIN in a white ribbon figure at the bottom. Aside from his coat, he also wears black pants and black shoes to complete his outfit, which is very simple. But with all that decency, there is one odd thing that he wears that can be easily noticed also, and that is his plain blue bandana wrapped around on his silver-haired head. Truly, it is kind of odd of him to wear as such as that, but he is still looks like a man with dignity. So with all that have been said, politeness and good manners are mandatory if Piero is going to face him, and he keeps that in mind right now.

So as he comes closer, he walks slowly and gently towards the man in front of him, and he is likely practicing in his mind on how to approach him appropriately, showing that he is nervous at this time around. However, his presence has been noticed prematurely by this man even with Piero's careful footsteps, so he gently turns from his place and shows his middle-aged face to the young man with a warm smile.

"Ah! Welcome Piero! I'm glad that you've come."

Piero is obviously surprised by his wonderful greet and he slightly looses his composure at that moment. But he immediately pull himself together to return him a greet as well.

"It has been a pleasure director." And he makes a quick bow to give his full respect.

"Good! Now that you are here, I want to give you something."
