okay so I was a huge fan of stranger things 1-3 the plot was great and original, but I feel like it's slowly turning into Riverdale... Allow me to explain.

The fact that they're going into the upside-down but nancy is the only one w a gun Like the duffers try so hard to make it her thing but it's dumb
Will and Mike used to be the MCs but now they had 2 scenes? Like in the s4 part 1 I tried to forgive the writers bc oh maybe they'd make it up w the part 2 but NOO it was just 2 eps and they still didn't get any screen time
DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE EL X HOPPER REUNION l legit broke down and shit when hopper "died" but when he came back all we got was a 5-second hug scene, girl sheds a single tear and WALKS OUT ALONE WITHOUT HOPPER TO LOOK AT THE others?? LIKE IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE?? LOGICALLY SHE'D WANNA STAY AND SAY SUM SHIT LIKE, "I'll never leave u again!"
Plus no one ever asks how tf hopper survived?? Like the bomb would've killed him one shot he was so close... He "died" but then the show pulled the classic ahaha Jk! It just takes away all credibility for the show and it's not even a "haha duffers u tricked me this is so smart! "Kind of thing, it's just annoying. It completely ruins season 3's emotional ending.
The Russia plotline was so disconnected from the rest of the series too... Like one second its" oh no max is getting attacked by vecna!" or" Shit Eddie's getting ate! " then the scene shifts to the hags fighting the same recycled bland villains of s1-2 (demogorgons)
And el and MIKES' relationship is so dry. He had no reason to like her. His cringe-ass speech abt how he fell in love w her the second they met was dumb asf she was just some random creepy bald kid. She spoke 2 words to him, didn't do shit and just ate his eggos and it's not even as if she was the prettiest thing to grace the planet?? So like how did he magically fall in love?
Like Lucas was rational Mike was dumb trusting a random girl he doesn't even know who has supposed powers
And they kissed in s1 after knowing each other for less than a week (s1 took place during like 5 days)
Also, yk how did max randomly come back to life? It made NO SENSE and it was just pure plot armour. it would've been better if she died bc then we'd all be sad Like I love max but it makes no sense. I know she's in a coma right now, but istg if she just wakes up all fine with no injuries I'd be mad. Ik this sounds bad that I want her blind or crippled but I just hate how there are no concequences in this show. Oh you just got killed? Nvm you're all perfectly fine now 😂
0 foreshadowing of els "reviving" powers or her backstory w 001... She just somehow conveniently forgot about a whole what 5 years of her life??? It feels like the duffers are just tryna pull a cheap "plot twist"
If she knew how to revive ppl why didn't she save her siblings? (assuming she knew abt her powers all along bc no scene shows her discovering her new ability or wtv IYKWIM)
And omggg Lucas' "romantic" lines to max sounded so forced it was cringe
Also, yk in s2 how did bob and shit take 3 episodes to escape the demodogs and the slight noise alerted them?
In s4 hopper managed to kill a whole bunch of demogorgons in 2 minutes the fight was so boring and it doesn't make sense w s2 (he was yelling and crashing everywhere and somehow it didn't attract the monsters immediately as it did in s2)
And Vickie randomly falling in love w Robin during the last possible second is so random there is no reason for her to like Robin and it feels so plain... I would've rather had Vickie go into the underworld w Robin and see them bond and develop their relationship instead of rushing it. They had one conversation. In the band. In the first ep. It was legit Robin's first time talking to her at all. And I'd like to see Vickie realize she likes girls and stuff like if you're gonna throw in representation at least do it right. It just feels like they want to check off that queer Rep box. And as someone bi myself, I think we do need to be represented but if you're gonna represent our community please put actual effort
