Albedo knew they didn't have much time left, most of them knew. Klee didn't know, and he didn't want her final moments to be her worrying, so he told her stories and put on a brave face for her. Jean did the same. Xiao was still comforting Lumine, who was crying terribly loud now. Ajax was thinking about his family and how he'd never see them again. For how scared she was before, Ayaka was rather calm now, she had thought about death and was ready to be reunited with her parents again, a rather grim outlook on what was going to happen.
Then, there was Yoimiya, still mesmerized by the aircraft, even as it was falling, but she never gave up hope. She had a slight glimmer of hope that she would return home.
Then, the inevitable happened. The once beautiful aircraft slammed into the ground, obliterating it and killing every single person on board.
Several hours later emergency services responded to the crash site. The first people they saw, the pilot Void and her sister, the first officer, Destiny. Then they came across Ningguang and Beidou. Ayaka and Yoimiya, Jean and Lisa, Kaeya and Rosaria, Thoma and Ayato, and more. The final people they saw, Xiao and Lumine.
Once Mona arrived on site, she was horrified, she saw all her friends bloodied bodies, debris, and her friends belongings.
The only thing she could do, was cry.
