Even after returning to the departure airport, there wasn't much information about the accident, it was too early in the NTSBs investigation.
After a long three months, some information was made public.
Once the news got out about the aircraft that the Teyvatians was confirmed by the airline to be a Boeing 737 MAX 8, there was global controversy, this aircraft had been found to be dangerous due to it's MCAS system. It should not have been that aircraft that was flying. The airline knew that, everyone knew that.
Soon after, the NTSB told the public another strange discovery about this flight, after some autopsy's, everyone on board, other than the pilots, was found to have some unidentified elemental traces. No one knew what these could be, other than Alice and Mona, they knew these traces had come from their visions. However, they both knew these traces probably didn't have an effect on the flight in a catastrophic way. Little did they know how much the visions could effect the planes ability to stay afloat.
In some way, like a phone that's not on airplane mode, each vision had a small negative effect on the plane's systems. But combined, with almost 50 visions on board, they had a greater effect. But, they still could not have taken down a modern airliner, just made it easier for a minor malfunction to turn deadly.
In the official NTSB report they stated, "Due to the unidentified elemental traces, we have concluded that some unknown force took down the aircraft. Combined with it being a 737 MAX 8, the situation turned deadly in a matter of seconds."
Mona and Alice knew they were the last hope to find out the real reason why their friends and family were killed so quickly.
