Loki released a sharp breath, as he walked out the room. It has been ages since he last felt... nervous. Are maids even allowed to look this beautiful? He widened his eyes at the thought, not liking it. At all. He walked to the meeting room, trying to push you away from his mind. He was not into crushing, even less into loving. Ew.
He sat on his royal chair, at the end of the table, as he awaited the adviser of Alfaheim. Loki feared- sensed that he needed to remind the Realm of the strenght of Asgard. Plus, apparently this adviser had a request. He chewed on his lower lip as he zoned out, staring at the wall.

As said to your King, you were cleaning the throne room while humming quietly. However, an idea came in your mind. You smiled to yourself, looking around to make sure no on was here. Hearing only the quiet 'click' of the main clock, you slowly rised and sat on the golden trone. A rush of adrenaline and power ran in your veins, and you couldn't help but smile wider. You chuckled a bit, running your fingertips on the cold sides. That feeling was... indescribable. Loki felt that everyday... The thought of him sitting here like a true king, or perhaps even taking against the- You blushed hard and shook your head, not believeing your own thoughts. Too lost in your fantasies, you didn't hear Adrian coming in. His whistle brought you back to reality.

A: Well well well... Look who is playing the queen?

You snapped your head towards him, a smug smirk spreading on his face. You immediately got up and walked down the  little stairs but being the clumsy person you were, you stepped on your dress and fell down. Great, it couldn't be more embarassing. Adrian walked to you and offered you his hand, that you took to get up.

A: you alright?

-Embarassed to death, but yes.

He chuckled a bit and let go of your hand, to put it in his pocket.

A: I knew you liked the king, but sitting on-

He teased, but you quickly covered his mouth with your hand. You felt his smirk against your palm as he looked down at you, his eyebrows raised.

-For the love of Odin, keep your mouth shut.

You whispered-yell, looking around. He laughed a bit and got away from your grip.

A: What if I went to tell the King what you did~

He said on a singing tone, which made you blush harder.

-you wouldn't dare.

He laughed as he walked away, and you chuckled as well. You knew Adrian wouldn't say anything. You both kept each other's secret.

A few rooms away from the throne room, Loki was still in his meeting. His 'guest' arrived an hour ago, quickly exposing his request.

+: and that is all.

He conclued, leaning against his chair. The God of Mischief nodded, still frowning.

L: both of you and your King be aware that I shall not unite this kingdom with another by marriage. If I attend to do so, it will be an arrangement. Now leave.

He added with a darker tone, the adviser shivering visibly. He nodded and quickly left. Loki huffed and rubbed his temples, closing his eyes. No matter how much they feared him, every King of their homeland send someone to speak for their daughter's marriage with him. He really wanted that his wife to be from Asgard. He sighed and got up, walking back to his chambers and calling for you in the way. He wasn't done with the lie thing yet.
