The twigs under them cracked as they proceeded into the forest of the Echoing Trees. The canopy is so large that only little amounts of light seep through. Only the adaptive species can survive in these harsh surroundings. The atmosphere is definitely not suitable for kids like them. The air pressure is extremely low making it hard to breathe. The forest floor is covered with mud and other sticky substances. Some make your shoes sink, but some may be habitats of a certain dangerous creature.

"Stacy, I'm getting tired, can't we find a place to rest?" Asked Lucy

"It's so dark in here, I can barely see where i am going" moaned Gilvid

"Hang in there, we can't find a place to camp especially with this mud" replied Stacy

"Uhhh, I think I stepped on something" Panicked Gilvid

"It's fine, It's probably a rock or something" Answered Stacy

"I don't think so it feels like it's moving"

"I think we're in trouble, I can sense it" Lucy commented

"Guys it's perfectly fine, you are just imagining it-" paused Stacy as she looked up

"GUYS RUN!!!!!"

A great roar can be heard from all across the forest. All animals big or small knew this was not a good sign and sprinted back into their homes. The origin of the roar came from a terrifying monster that is 2 metres tall and is covered with moss and small insects that are inhabiting it. It has small dead branches coming out of its head and a huge mouth in the middle of its body. It has green teeth that were watering due to its lack of food. It has muddy feet which makes it slow enough for the kids to keep a distance.

With no hesitation the trio ran up north trying to get away

"ITS AFTER US!" panicked GIlvid

"OBVIOUSLY WHO DO YOU THINK IT'S AFTER" responded Lucy sarcastically

"IT'S COMING CLOSER!"

"YOUR BEING SACRIFICED FIRST" screamed Lucy

"WAIT WHAT?! WE NEVER AGREED TO THIS!"

"Guys, no one is being sacrificed we can find a way out of this mess" panted Stacy annoyed at the arguing

"Look! There's a cave, let's hide in there first!"

"Ok it's not like we have any other choice" Lucy replied as they started to run into the cave
