Volcano Queen

Chapter 4 : A Tragic Village

Stacy and her friends landed with a thump on the rocky volcano floors. They looked around at their surroundings and got up to wander around. Around them were lots and lots of volcanic trees, they had burning red leaves and a dark brown trunk. Stacy took out her compass and they decided to walk towards North. While they were walking they saw a sign saying "The Elf Village" and it pointed towards the North-East, so they decided to go to the village for information. It took about an hour to walk there and everyone was getting very tired so they had a small picnic. Lucy gave everyone a snack and after that they continued to walk. They reached the Elf Village and found out that they lived in small huts and welcomed them into their houses with open arms. All of the villagers were very good looking compared to a normal human. One of the elfs who is about the same age as them took them to meet The Wise Old Elf or known as Lindor. When they went in they found an old elf with a long white beard which was braided. They introduced themselves and decided to stay for a few days to get their supplies and have a rest before they continue.

A few days Later

Gilvid found a soldier's campsite nearby while trying to get some fruits for the village. He immediately rushed back to the village to report to the wise old elf. Lindor decided to move everyone to the escape tunnel that they prepared incase some of The Volcano Queen's men came. It was a trap door hidden in some leaves to camouflage it in the forest. When Stacy, Lucy, Freona and GIlvid went into the tunnel, they found an abundant of beds, food and the necessities of the elf and a human. When the soldiers found the village, they were searching the different houses in the village. They made lots of noises above the tunnel, their boots were also making the tunnel shake. All of the elves were hiding under tables, chairs and anything they could find to keep cover. But then, the trapdoor opened. Soldiers barged in from left and right to capture as many elves as possible. Freona and many elves couldn't escape in time so they got captured by the soldiers. They were taken out of the tunnel and on they their way to the Volcano Palace.
