Well, this was another same day for Leona through which she lived her happy life in Hawkins with her family.

Leona woke up to the loud noise of her alarm . She was in no mood of waking up but then she remembered that today was her first day at Hawkins State University. Leona lived with her parents in Hawkins. Her parents moved from Florida to Hawkins since her father was police inspector; at that time Leona was hardly a year old.

After getting a shower; she just stared at her closet thinking about what she should wear. She definitely didn't want to get doomed on her first day. After what felt like an eternity she picked up a classic outfit and then headed downstairs where she was greeted by her mom and dad.

"Good morning honey!" mom said as soon as she saw her doughter. "Good morning mom....uhhmm....the pancakes smell so good...I'm more hungry now!". Then Leona saw her father all focused on the damn newspaper and not sparing a glance to his 'only' doughter. "Hey dad you dad you get newspaper everyday but you don't get a daughter everyday though" Leona said with her arms crossed over her chest. "Oh...hey Good morning sweetheart!...excited for school!?".
"Jeez dad! It's my first day at the university today....how can you be so uninterested towards your daughter!" Leona said being done with her dad.
"Oh...uhhmmm....yeah yeah....I do remember it's just that you are always my little girl for me" her dad said being jumbled up.
"Nice try dad, keep that lame excuse to yourself. Well you know that it's my first day let me be frank....I'm nervous." Leona said looking down or say...feeling down?
"Oh honey...don't be nervous. I know you got this. You are still that brave, confident girl for me just like you are a little girl for your dad" she said eyeing her husband.
"Ahh...yes! Don't worry dear you definitely got this" he said giving Leona a fatherly touch.
"Okay perks now let's have a quick breakfast unless you want to be late for your work" mom said arranging their plates. Both father and daughter digged into their plates leaving Leona's mother perplexed.

Time skips:- University.

After being dropped to the university by her father, she just stared at the huge building in front of her. She kept reminding herself that she needed to be calm and relaxed and then she had got this!

While she was just exploring the university she bumped into someone causing both of them to wince. "Oh...I'm sorry, I was just acting like a blind crazy woman...are you perhaps hurt!?"

"No...I'm fine...actually it's my fault too, I should have been more focused while walking around."

"Don't be...well I'm Stella and you!?" She asked letting her hand out.

"Leona, Leona Smith. I'm new to this university since it's the freshman year"

"Oh I'm in the freshman year too. Well it feels good to make friends on the first day itself." Stella was definitely a cheerful girl.

"Yeah it really does. I hope we become best friends" Leona said

"We will definitely!" Stella replied.

Then, Leona and Stella headed to their classroom. The first half of the lectures went smooth. They made a lot of new friends and enjoyed each other's company too. Now it was their lunch time and they headed to the canteen.

Both the girls were having lunch along with their other friends when they heard loud noises at the entrance of the canteen.

"What's the commotion about?!" Leona asked eyeing the entrance.

"Oh....it seems like you don't know. It's Glenn Colemann for the senior year. He is a hot, attractive and handsome looking guy...and talking about the commotion it's just the girls drooling over him." With that said Stella was back to eating her lunch whereas Leona's eyes were stuck at Glenn taking in each and every inch of him, she was just staring like a jerk at him.

"Girl! Are you gawking at him?" at the loud voice of Stella, Leona tore her eyes away from Glenn and looked at Stella with a questionable look.

"What!? No...no...I'm not gawking at him" Leona justified

"If you want I can set you up with him. You see my brother Stephen is his best friend." Stella stated with a mischievous smile.

"Noo....! This is completely inappropriate of you thinking like this. I'm not into him!" Leona said with a stern look.

" I didn't said anything about you being into him though"

"Uhhh....whatever Stella just finish your lunch!" Leona said rolling her eyes.

Then again Leona secretly looked at him but then she realized that he was looking at her too. That was the moment she felt her heart skipping a beat.
