Natsu's anger (Chapter 18)

I woke up in a warehouse, Lucy had just kicked one of our guild members Reedus. "Jeez Lucy why'd you kick him??" She smiled sheepishly, "I thought he was a creep hehe." When he was finally okay he explained what happened and how we got here. "Oh, so Mira put us to sleep to protect us?" Lucy asked, he nodded his head, "Then we brought you to an emergency hideout." I looked down and sighed. "I was hoping to help everyone fight." I said, that's when I noticed he was painting. "We're simply trying to protect some of our own. That's all there is to it." He said simply, Lucy stood up quickly, "But still! I can't just sit here and do nothing well they're all fighting to protect the guild. I have to go back and help them." He continued to paint. "Can't let you do that. Mira gave me strict orders to keep you here." There was a crashing on the door and I jumped back. "What's that? Who's trying to get in?" Lucy asked, he stepped in front of us protectively, "Stand back you two."

They've been at it for a while, three against one is not good odds. "Just hand over the brats." The girl said making me clench my teeth. "Our boss doesn't like to wait." Reedus turned to us. "Lucy, Y/n run while you still can." I shook my head, "Please, for the shake of our guild, do it!" I felt my heart clench at his words. "Oh, how touching." if she doesn't shut up I swear to goddess. Lucy grabbed my hand and began to run. That's when I noticed the blacked haired man coming towards us. I put my arms up to try and block his attack but it still sent me flying backwards. "You're gonna leave fatty here to take the fall? That's not nice." He landed and I stood up in front of Lucy. " I've never seen such a sad excuse for a guild. They just let anyone join fairytale?" Lucy glared at him angrily, "Take that back." She said, "You gonna make me?" Reedus got blown away and fell. "You actually hang out with Guys like that little princesses?" She look at the man and yelled, "You monster! Your gonna pay for this!" He jumped forward and knocked Lucy out, he tried to knock me out too but I dodged. "You're even more of a pest than your sister." He said, he grabbed me by the face and threw me onto the ground. Pain exploded all over my skin and I felt it tear all over. He then picked me up and jumped onto the roof. I heard an explosion by us and looked up to see Loki. "Heck of a way to say hello." Loki stuffed his hands in his pocket and glared. "What do you think you're doing with Lucy and Y/n? If you don't let them go right now, you'll be sorry. That is if you live to see tomorrow." The man dropped us and I tried to stand up but he stepped on my head. "Be a good bird and stay put, Kay?" I glared at him and he pressed harder before walking away. I was fading in and out of consciousness. He picked me back up and I felt us moving. When I finally was pretty conscious again I heard Jose's voice. "So you returned bearing a gift, have you?" His hold on me tightened as he shifted. "Yeah, I picked up a little something while I was out." He dropped us and I caught myself. "Oh, looks like one of the princesses is awake." Said Gajeel, as I just learned his name. "Oh very impressive my boy. How are you able to track them down so quickly?" Gajeel  pinched his nose, "You should never underestimate the nose of a dragon slayer." Jose then looked at Lucy, " Blondie is alive right? Without a pulse she's worthless to us." Gajeel looked thoughtful for a moment. "Hm, I was pretty rough with her. Let's see." He kicked her in the gut making me yell out. "Don't touch her." I jumped at him taking him to the ground. I threw a punch he blocked. He then brought fist to my stomach then face. I coughed loudly as he threw me across the room. I landed next to Lucy with a thud. So much pain erupted around my body, bones cracked, blood trickling and bruises forming. "Excellently done Gajeel. I knew I could count on you." Jose walked up and grabbed an intercom. "Listen up you fairytale worms. Listen carefully because I only say this once." Gajeel went towards Lucy but I stood in the way. "Fine, you'll work too." He grabbed me by the hair and I grunted. "Oh come on I know you can be louder then that." He grabbed my arm and began to twist it slowly. A scream ripped it's way from my throat, shredding my vocal cords more. I coughed as he dropped me to the ground. I landed on my face and he grabbed Lucy by her hair. She let out a scream. "No! Get off her." He smirked and dropped her. "Ohohoh I love getting a rile out of you bird." Jose then left, going after Natsu and the rest inside. Gajeel keeled down to my face. "Oh your a pretty bird." He grabbed my face, I spit at him. He frowned and tightened his grip. "Asshole." I muttered, he gritted his teeth. "You're lucky I'm not allowed to kill you." I stared into his eyes, he smirked and let go. He turned to Lucy and hit her with an iron fist. I wanted to yell but couldn't. My voice gone from the scream. He hit her over and over. Finally one of his guild members asked, "Gajeel? Hasn't she had enough? Besides the master said he doesn't want her getting hurt or nothing." Gajeel looked at them with a smile. "But what else am I supposed to do? I can't believe he's doing this. He leaves me to watch over Blondie and birdie here while he gets to have all the fun." His arm became metal and I leaned over Lucy protectively. "Aww look at the little bird trying to protect her sister, how cute. Anyway, I'm just playing with my new toys." I glared up at the monster before me. If I had my weapon I would stab him right now. "Yeah, but if the Master catches you doing this, we're all going to be in trouble." Gajeel hit the man with his metal. "Shut up. I know master thinks they're important, but they're just pieces of fairy scum to me. Even though their girls, they're still wizards. They should've known what they were getting into when they join the guild." I held Lucy close to me as they talked. "You're taking this way too far man. Let it go." Said the tall guy with a white jacket. " Master's gonna lose it, isn't he?" The girl with the purple hat said, Gajeel rolled his eyes. "Well, then I'll tell him it was all your idea." Gajeel laughed at his own idea. He then turned back, "Oh, I kind of feel sorry for them. Their fellow guild members didn't even want them back till they found out their old man's loaded." Lucy sat up, holding my shoulder. She smiled and laughed lightly. We both got up onto our feet. "Jeez you're dumb. I can barely even believe it. It's just sad. I actually feel sorry for you." I laughed at what she said. "Phantom Lord? Is that supposed to scare us? Well it doesn't." Gajeel smiled, "You shouldn't have said that." I pushed Lucy out of the way, getting slammed into the wall by his iron arm. He then hit her with his other arm and I gritted my teeth. "It takes some nerve to go running your mouth in a situation like this princesses. I gotta admit, you guys got guts." He let us go and we fell to the floor. Lucy held her stomach and I began to get up. "Make some noise, but not this trash talking act you're putting on." I scoffed, making him scowl. "You really think weak hits like this are gonna do anything to me? Do you see the scars?" He's face morphed into slight disturbance when he finally noticed. My cloak came off, some of the clothes ripping reveling the lashes and scared covering my whole back. " I've been through worse than this Gajeel. So keep. throwing. punches." He frowned deeply at me and sent out his arm again, hitting into my head with a sick crunch. I felt some blood run down my face. "I want screams. If I don't start getting what I want, you're gonna be sorry." Lucy then looked up at him. "Then why don't you just go ahead and do it? Finish me. Then you're gonna be sorry, just you wait." I tired to stand but couldn't, my head spinning to fast. "Lucy no." I called, "Yeah? Who's going to make me? I'm curious." I leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. "Fairytale. They've never let you get away with this. They take revenge. They'll never stop. And if I were you, I'd be watching my back from now on, The world's scariest guild will be after you as long as you live." He glared down at her, "So they're gonna come after me huh? Sounds like fun." I dragged myself to my sister and draped myself over her. "Y/n don't!" That's when I felt the heat under us and saw flames spew from the ground. "Natsu..." the fire looked like a dragon.

And it rose all around.
