The Butterfly Estate

When I woke up I was laying down on a bed with Inosuke on a bed to my right and Zenitsu on a bed to my left.

I then got up and realized that I was covered in bandages

'Damn, he really would have killed me if not for Kanao and her sister. Anyway I got to go right now, they saw the breathing style I use and I don't want to get Mitsuri involved in this,' I thought

I then quickly left the room that I was in and opened the main door to the house, only to see Kanao's older sister sitting on the porch outside

"You still need to recover from your injuries, stay inside," She said without looking at me

"I'm fine, I'll be going now since clearly you and your sister don't like me,"

"You can't do that. The master wished to speak to you later today," 

"Why should I listen to him?" I asked 

She then turned her head around and her eyes finally met mine "Because some Hashira may go out and kill you after,"

I wasn't on par with Hashira quite yet. I only won once when I fought Mitsuri and that was because she just came back. Considering that she's not even the strongest Hashira, I will most likely die.

"Fine. Just don't cause me trouble and I won't cause you any," I said as I went back inside.

A few hours had passed when Kanao's sister came into the room again "The master wishes to speak to you now."

I didn't say anything but got up and walked with her

"My name is Shinobu just so you know,"

"Tanjiro Kamado" I said back

We didn't say anything else as we walked all the way to the master's house. When we arrived there were 8 people all kneeling and Shinobu quickly joined them right after telling me to kneel as well.

"Hello my children," A man said. He had pale skin and a disease that covered the top of his head which was purple.

"Greeting master," everyone said at the same time

"Is this the boy? Tanjiro Kamado?" 

"Yes," Shinobu answered 

I looked over and noticed Mitsuri was also kneeling but she had a somewhat worried expression on her face.

"Tanjiro, from what Kanao and Shinobu have reported you use love breathing correct?" the master asked

This shocked everyone's face as Mitsuri's face looked even more worried

"Correct," I replied

"So does that mean you are Mitsuri's disciple?" the master asked again

"Huh? for that love for brains idiot? No way, I just saw her fight the demon, and when I saw that I followed her home and watched from afar and memorized all of the techniques,"

This shocked everybody even more, especially Mitsuri, she was about to say something when another Hashira spoke up. He had a mask around his face and two different color eyes

"So let me get this straight, you stalked Mitsuri home and then illegally learned a breathing form?" 

Although this would jeopardize my whole life I decided to keep with it. After all, It could ruin Mitsuri's career if they found out she secretly had a disciple. As for why I did it... I couldn't say, I just felt like I couldn't allow Mitsuri to get in trouble because of me after all she has done for me.

"That's what I just said," I replied

he then unsheathed his katana and put the blade right at my neck, and I didn't flinch at all.
