CHAPTER 24

Junseo POV

I fluttered my eyes open, adjusting to the bright light above my head. A saw something on my hand, a drip?

Wait? Where am I? Ugh my head. I tried to lift my head and it pounded as if it were to explode soon.

I looked around the room and saw the hyungs all sleeping. Yongha and Seokhwa hyung cuddled on the sofa while Daehyeon and Donghan hyung were asleep on a mat they brought.

I looked to my left to see our manager sleeping while resting his head on my bed. Poor guys, I gave them such a fright. I need to apologise to them.

" Hyung...... "

I managed to say despite my throat being extra dry and hand still heavy and tired.

Our manager rubbed his eyes and looked.

" Junseo-ya, are you awake? Can you see me? "

He waved his hand in my face and I nodded. He gasped in relief and went to wake the members.

Once they all woke up, Donghan hyung handed me a glass of water and Daehyeon hyung helped me to sit up.

" What happened, Junseo? Where's Yohan? We looked everywhere for you guys "

" I'm sorry for worrying all of you, I never meant for all this to happen "

I looked as tears streamed down my face. They all saddened and sighed. Yongha hyung placed a hand on my shoulder.

" Hey, it's okay. It's not your fault nor Yoahn's. You two are not to blame, it's her "

" Her? "

" Yeah, that woman Ju Yeon "

" She should be arrested for doing things like this to you guys "

Seokhwa said in anger but the hyungs looked at him. They were displeased with what he said.

" Calm down, buddy. We have a lot of proof but we can't say that now "

" What? Why? "

I talked back, they just looked at me and sighed. 

" It's easy to say but we're just getting started artists. She's started her journey way longer so by now you must get my point " 

Daehyeon hyung said as he made the 'money' gesture. Right, with money now, people can just bribe someone to be anything and lie away as if nothing happened. 

I just huffed and gripped tight to the bed sheets. Tears starting forming in my eyes. The hyungs noticed it.

" Junseo-ya "

" Hm? "

" Yohan is gonna be alright, he'll survive "

" What do you mean? "

I looked at them weirdly, what are they talking about? Yongha hyung sat beside me and held my hand.

" Donghan hyung said he heard you mumbling things and telling Yohan to stay alive. We figured something happened when you escaped, could you tell us? "

He looked at me, pleadingly but I shook my head. I didn't want to remember that, not in the slightest.

He sighed in defeat but gave me a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder.

" He will be fine, he's put up with Donghan hyung's punches and shenanigans so he'll be alright "

" I hope so "

The mood went cold and everyone just fiddled and mind their own businesses. I felt tired so I asked if I could take a nap.

Our manager said yes and they immediately headed out for breakfast because they hadn't had anything since I woke up.
